Sonder Greektown

Great location in the heart of Greek town. Close to downtown and the Willis tower. Room was great and self contained. Good size apartment with laundry facilities. Even provide you with washing tablets. A nice touch. Great value for money.

No lifts and a lot of stairs. Need to be fit. The air conditioning in the apartment is very loud so could not have it on for long.

Apartment was very clean, appliances all appeared new & despite being on a busy street, the bedrooms were very quiet. The design was European and contemporary.

1) Though we were able to "figure things out" manuals or a user guide for guests staying at the apartment would have been helpful. Having stayed in similar apartments overseas, I could see how foreign visitors might be perplexed by American devices. 2) The apartment was very clean - but maybe a bit sterile. It probably could use some warmth (for example, more pictures on the wall, decorations that would "say Chicago", a blanket for watching TV on the couch) would improve the comfort for guests. 3) Very long walk up the stairs - we would have appreciated knowing ahead of time it was going to be challenging get some large suitcases up the stairs.

The place was excellent and very nice. Was great to have bedrooms and bath available for everyone and the washer and dryer was nice extra touch because of the children.

The TV had reception issues. A lot of pixelating and reception was not good. There was a short somewhere and not all stations were coming in especially in a city the size of Chicago. No flexibility with checking in or checking out which became a big issue with children and timing of train arrivals and departures.

Space including storage. Quiet apart from a/c unit.

The coffee bags, the sugar, salt & pepper etc were in a box. Fine. But the box was under the sink! Why would we look under the sink for the coffee bags? They should be placed near the coffee maker - that's what everyone else does. We didn't discover them until day 3 which was a pity. Air conditioning unit was very noisy - probably needs replacing.

Spacious, clean, good taste. The windows were sound proof and bedroom mattresses comfy. Well located in a really cool Greek neighborhood surrounded by good places to go out

The water pressure was weak in showers, the fold out beds in living rooms were not the most comfortable.

The room felt very luxurious. It was very clean and nice and decorated well. I loved the shower!

We stayed at the hotel during the Greektown Festival, which was good and bad. It was pretty noisy the whole weekend and there were so many people in such a small area around the hotel

Huge apartment, Comfy bed, Couldn’t hear street from room, Washer and dryer in room, Great location to grocery shop and restaurants and pubs towards Fulton St.

About 40 steep steps to get up to the 3rd and last floor, was a bit difficult getting bags up but only had to get them up once.

everything about this apartment was wonderful. it was amazing to have a full kitchen/washer drier/ toaster, microwave, coffee maker, fridge with ice maker! it was just so lovely it definitely exceeded my expectations. check in was a breeze too - no key just use the keypad to enter :)

Great spacious appartment which had everything we needed ( hair dryer ) and even some we didn’t ( washing machine and dishwasher!) . Well located - easy to get into central Chicago and to Fulton market which has great restaurants .

The location was great. The decoration of the apartment was very pleasing.

The number of stairs was a lot and should be noted before booking not to surprise guests. There was no mirror except in the bathroom.
