Live! by Loews - St. Louis

Great location next to Busch Stadium. We didn’t know it was literally next door. The whole baseball village experience was great and walking distance to the Gateway Arch!

We didn’t like the abundance of marijuana scent in the air. When we initially arrived Friday night, we could smell strong marijuana scent around the parking valet area at the hotel. So strong, we thought the young male valet parker was smoking and parking cars. We didn’t see him smoking but other guests had the same sentiment. Moreover, we decided to self-park instead of using valet, my partner is significantly allergic to marijuana and hemp, we didn’t want to take a chance.

The area is great. It is next to the ballpark village and hence there is plenty to do nearby and you can walk to the Gateway Arch in under 15 minutes. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. There were some negatives about our stay but overall I would stay at this hotel again happily. The staff overall were friendly, most were busy and provided customer service quickly but with a smile.

The breakfast was good but expensive. There is a coffee maker in the room but ours was broken so I went downstairs to get coffee and found out they don’t give complimentary coffee. The parking fee was $30 a night which is a bit excessive. During the day the drinks at the bar were made by the same waitress who served us breakfast. The drinks were expensive, small in amount and not strong at all.

This location can't be beat if you are in town for a Cardinals game. The staff is always incredibly helpful. It's in a great area to be able to walk around and experience all that Ballpark Village has to offer. Also a short walk to the Arch. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay.

Be prepared for the fact that you are right next to Busch Stadium and ballpark village -- so after the games, it is LOUD. Thankfully it seemed everything shut down by 11pm (midnight on the weekends).

okay but they could use more help. Staff people were good but could use more people at check in and out. Valet people did very good job.

access to Loews was difficult to say the lest. Clark St is not accessible you have to get on 8Th St heading North to get into Loews parking. If had not been for a Man working for Cardinal Village we would never have got there he told and showed us how to get to Loews parking you need to fix this

The location could not be closer to Busch Stadium. It is easy to access streets and highways that lead to other attractions in St. Louis. Also, the food and drinks in the restaurants are very good. It is fun to sit outside and see other fans going to the games.

I felt the carpet in the room could have been cleaner; however, it was not to the point that I called to have it cleaned.

Went for Cardinals Baseball game and all I had to do was walk out the doors. They have a restaurant and outside lounge area with couches and umbrellas that has bar service and food service. It was super comfy. They have a restaurant and bar inside the hotel makes it very convenient.

It's on the high end if you don't mind paying the cost my stay cost $336 for one night which included $50 deposit and $40 to self park its $50 for valet.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is downtown, yet parking doesn’t feel that way. It was super easy and convenient for parking! Not a lot of traffic. The hotel room was quiet. Huge plus!! Comfy bed with a good views. 10/10 recommend!

The parking garage is rather thin for two cars coming and going. Obviously you can’t change that, but we almost got hit 3 different times with cars flying or turning the corners wide in which bigger vehicles will have to. Over all great spots no complaints

On the morning of our departure, the room attendant knocked on the door, announcing herself, and awakened us out of a sound sleep around 7:45 am. Why??? The evening before as we were trying to sleep, very loud singing and music right outside our window kept us awake. Fortunately, it was only till around 9:00 pm

Honestly it doesn’t get better than this! The bars, the ambiance, the food and drinks all are so so good!! Our room was so nice!! The location is wonderful because you’re close to everything downtown. You could bird anywhere or get as cheap Uber! Your backyard is the STL live bars. I’ll be staying here when I cone back!

It was all about location. This is in Ballpark Village, literally across the street from Busch Stadium. I came to town to see a Cardinals game on my road trip and this made everything very convenient. Also just a short walk to the St. Louis Arch park. Nice bar in the lobby as well.

When paying a premium price for a hotel like this I would expect a decent internet connection. This was quite slow. And charging for parking on top of fairly high room rate is a bit greedy.
