Courtyard Chicago Highland Park/Northbrook

The location was super convenient for getting around Highland Park and the surrounding areas. The rooms were huge and had all the amenities I needed (fridge, every type of charging plug, even a couch and ottoman). The facility was very clean, beds super comfy, and it was SO nice that check-out isn't until noon. I feel like most hotels kick you out way earlier.

I was on the first floor, so if I opened my blinds, cars and people in the parking lot had a view directly into my room. I also woke up overnight a few times from sounds outside and in the hallway.

Sorry, this comment is intended for below. We never had the breakfast we paid for in the reservation. Upon check in the staff said breakfast was from 10-12. My husband went down at 9:30 to check about breakfast and he was told it ended at 10am and there was a cost and he needed to pre-order and he was charged for his coffee. When I checked out a little after 10am and when I came into the lobby there were staff behind the counter serving breakfast.

The personal were really supportive of my needs at the hotel always trying give their best, thats what actually made my stay much more confortable

their internet access was not that great had to do too many things just to get connected, it was really confusing and not that great overal, when tried to pay for premium access it never worked

My room faced traffic noise. Previously stayed 3times facing interior. Much preferred. Didn’t like bed configuration with tv. Air unit made loud sound til you pressed on front panel. All staff were excellent including Jose in housekeeping!

Stayed here since I was participating in the Highland Stong half marathon close by. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and quiet. Comfortable bed.

Wish there was a microwave in the room. other than that, everything else was great.

The hotel is in a convenient location and it is easy to get in and out. However the dinning option is very limited, there is no restaurant close-by, only a few fast food chain.

The bath towers are pretty old (they are clean but no longer soft), and they need to be replaced,

Starbucks selection was adequate and fresh

We were told cleaning the room only once during our one week stay. No price reduction or offers of any concessions

It would have been nice to have had a free breakfast

The trash my ice machines wasntnn be picked up daily and the halls weren’t vacuumed daily. I assumed a possible staff shortage due to Covid but overall very clean and super nice and accommodating staff.

Location was great! Relatives live nearby in Northbrook. Have stayed at this Courtyard before while visiting family in Highland Park as well.

People who work there really make that place special. I have stayed there for more than a week and was feeling almost like at home.
