General facilities were better than I anticipated. Rooms and building were clean, except for the usual hotel carpet dinginess. Beds were very comfortable. Pool was pleasant temperature. Breakfast was good -- better variety of food items than I've experienced in a while at a complimentary hotel buffet. Staff was polite and responsive.
Walls are definitely NOT soundproof -- we struggled to sleep due to a loud family next door. No hot tub in pool area. Only real complaint about hotel itself is that, in the morning *before checkout time*, housekeeping was eager to get into the room. Since we had a "do not disturb" sign on doorknob, staff called our room to see if they could get in to clean. They were apologetic when we answered, but the call defeated the purpose of the "do not disturb" sign!

Breakfast and cleanliness of the facility.
The “plug in” placed on the bed stand for charging devices did not work. I had three items that needed charging during the night. I was quite dismayed to discover in the morning that my devices were not charged. There was a sign as I exited the hotel asking if there were any problems; however, I had a meeting and didn’t have time to discuss this with the desk.

Chelsea that put out the breakfast did a simply wonderful job. The selection was wonderful and the display was spot on. This seriously was the best hotel experience for a breakfast included type of breakfast we have ever had. Thank you Chelsea! She was also so very friendly.

I was unpleasantly surprised that I had to pay a pet FEE rather than a deposit. $57 (total with tax) seemed excessive. I like this hotel for our frequent travels to Springfield but will now look elsewhere.

Great location. Plenty of food options. Close to shopping. We’ve stayed here 5 or 6 times. It’s always great.
Had a questionable experience with the guy collecting the trash. All other employees were great.

Manager and Angie made our stay exceptional. So helpful, treated us better than family. Friendly and accommodating. We wanted to stay an extra night and they were able to arrange it. Would definitely stay with them again. My sister is in a memory care center, so I will be staying again.👏🏻
