Hampton Inn Fort Wayne-Southwest

We spent 6 nights at this location, with our small dog, and were really impressed! The room was VERY clean and the beds were so comfortable! The location is perfect. It's tucked away in a quiet area yet it's just a couple minutes from lots of restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store, and the interstate. The front desk staff was professional and pleasant. I was also pleased with their pet fee and thought the pet 'welcome bag' was a nice touch. We definitely will return on our future visits!

Quiet area. Close to Foster Park. Spacious room! Clean bathroom. Comfortable bed.

I loved that staff went above and beyond to help us with a bottle of wine. We couldn’t find out wine opener and the maintenance guy and the girl at the front desk, Olivia, helped get the bottle opened. Also, we were able to check in early and have a late check out! Excellent service!

The only thing I didn’t like was how the manager (during the evening) talked to the staff in front of guests. It was extremely unprofessional!!! Treat your staff better! Everything else about our stay was fantastic!

What a pleasant surprise! I had a very bad experience with a neighbouring hotel so when I switched over to Hampton - I was shocked by how clean, orderly, and comfortable it really was. Not to mention some very useful and creative aids for the disabled. Nice place! Good value for a roadside stopover hotel.

This part of Fort Wayne is laid out really badly. With round-about, limited crossovers to get around the freeway, amd a lot of little dead end streets and parking lots, it was a bit of a maze to get to the front door. Other than that - satisfied.

Nice area close to a lot of things including the walkways behind the property leading to the mashes. Staff was amazing- Nathalie and the lovely lady who worked the night and morning of July 2 and 3 just great team!!

I was over charged by20.00. I talked to Hampton and told them they were charging me 20.00 more than bookings price. she said that’s taxes and a 20.00 fee for incidentals. I told her no that bookings price is taxes included. They said I need to contact booking. 198.00 for a room that should of been 178.00 that included taxes.

Sadly the location was in a business park. Location was completely devoid of any convenient restaurants. I was on foot and literally had to hike across three freeway ramps and climb under the freeway overpass to get to a restaurant! Pretty weird. I could see this great sushi place from my room but it took me a while to decide to hoof it over there.

Location was ok. Rooms were very comfortable and clean! Kids loves the pool area!

The continental breakfast left much to be desired. Only “hot” item was oatmeal. Everything else was packaged egg and breakfast items. Not what I expected from a continental breakfast. May have something to do just opening everything back up and safety precautions from the COVID pandemic. This was really the only “bad” thing we encountered and it was still better than nothing at all.

Friendly staff. Good complimentary breakfast with plenty of choices. Exactly what I'd expect from a quality hotel. Thank you.

The only problem I had was it was very humid outside and the a/c in the room had a bit of a hard time keeping it comfortably cool. The public areas were very comfortable though.

Great location as I could walk next door to Wesleyan uni for training. For the price of the room (king size bed), I was hoping to have whirpool tub and better pillows. Breakfast was good. Coffee was great. I'd recommend it to my colleagues.
