Hilton Garden Inn By Hilton Fort Wayne North

This location is fairly new, very clean, conveniently located near the highway and town, and has a nice aesthetic. There is a nice restaurant and impressive gym, pool, and laundry facilities. The hotel rooms are a nice size, have plenty of writing room, and are very well appointed. We will stay here again.

The bathroom doors are ridiculous. They are sliding barn doors on a track and do not close entirely. This is by design. Totally inappropriate for a hotel room. If you are traveling with someone and don’t intend for them too see you in the shower or on the toilet this is not for you. Additionally, the staff were quite underwhelming. The night staff did not know where anything was, what the cost if the sundries were or where to find that. There were no shower caps and the staff member had a very dismissive attitude about that and the fact that the room was out of shower gel. I was disappointed with the guest service approach this time.

Very clean, very comfortable and the the "feel" was very relaxing.

There were actually banners in the lobby about this wonderful breakfast for $6 and it was non-existent. The Host at the breakfast location said well it's actually $9 and it didn't look very inviting. Also there were not adequate luggage carts, several of us could not find any upon check out.

Area was clean and pleasant

The small omelets were tasty but were not enough of them…sometimes none at all. Same for the breakfast sandwiches. The orange juice dispenser malfunctioned. Not really up to our expectations compared to the rest of the facility. No soap or toiletries in our room. It was nice that they asked what we needed, but after our request nothing appeared.

The hotel is brand new & very nice. The room was very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The lighting was great. The staff was fantastic - friendly, helpful and welcoming. There was a bowl of free fruit available all day at the front desk. We did not use the gym or pool as we didn't have time but both looked great. The little store in the lobby was useful and well stocked with plenty of microwavable food, snacks and necessary items. There were luggage carts ready & waiting for use by the lobby doors.

The only thing that was a little off was the barn door style door on the bathroom. While it was a nice looking design feature it kind of lacked total privacy as there is a small gap on the side when the door is closed that someone standing outside the bathroom can see through. Door also does not lock. Not really an issue since I was only staying with my husband but it could be an issue for others that may not be as comfortable without total privacy.

It was a nice hotel

Our stay included breakfast. When we went to eat the next morning we were questioned multiple times about where we were staying. I even showed my email stating breakfast included. (Was told it was $13 for breakfast) The guy in the breakfast area then went and double checked that we stayed there. We were finally told we could sit. We had to ask for our drinks. Then others started coming in and were told they could order omelets, scrambled eggs, but we were never told that, and right away those people were asked what they wanted to drink. I loved our stay until having to deal with that. We had to stay another night in Fort Wayne and we stayed elsewhere.

The property was great with everything one would need for a short or long stay…. bar, restaurant, gym, pool, two breakfast areas, and an area that sold snacks, wine, etc.

When we arrived in our room, I noticed trash from the previous occupant that had not been removed.

It was supposed to include a free breakfast but we were charged for breakfast and extra for juice and the basic breakfast didn’t include meat.Our conformation said free breakfast.

Making things clearer and easier to understand

Location, staff, shower.

Refrigerator was not working! Yes it was plugged in. There was no bottle opener for the Coca-Cola sold in the lobby! Huge oversight!! And expensive!

as far as Breakfast, I cant wait till we get back to normal for this. The brown bag Breakfast is not what we look for. The bar and the bartender were excellent!!!

the service was great and the common areas were nice the rooms were very spacious. again the Bar and Bartender were great!!

Nice room visually and same for the hotel itself.

Room needed more attention to detail, toilet seat was dirty(peed on), likely still there now. Bed was surprisingly stiffer than most Garden Inns.
