Baymont by Wyndham Wichita East

It was a nice place in a nice location. Pretty scenery around it. The outdoor pool was very nice and lots of trees for shade like in a little courtyard area. It was clean and comfortable. We got a king suite that had a stove, fridge, oven dishes the whole thing and it met our needs very well.

Nothing other than there was no ice machine. I didn't think to check in our freezer for an ice maker or anything but when I needed ice the lady at the front desk went and filled my cup for me from the ice machine they use that was in their breakfast supply storage room.

The rooms are a little dated, but very nice and clean. They are more like a studio apartment with a full kitchen. They supply the basics like bowls, cups, plates, pans and utensils. It even comes with a toaster and full sized coffee pot. Inside the rooms was very quiet and they do have a free breakfast from 6-9 AM.

The hallway to my room smelled like Marijuana every time I walked down it. Many of the guests had dogs and when you walked down the hall they would bark through the doors at you. The faucet handle in the bathtub was very loose and needed replaced and it was hard to get the water to shut off completely and always seemed to have a drip. The pots and skillets they provided in the kitchen definitely need replaced. I could use the skillet but the two pots were so dirty with burnt on material there was no way I would use those. They also provide dish soap and a sponge, but the sponge they don’t change out for guests and you could tell it had been used many times before.

Everything so far is very nice and friendly helpful staff. Location is safe and close to highway. Outside of my window is like a nice big backyard with trees and birds so it's peaceful and quiet. I'm very glad I booked here and will stay here in the future whenever I need. The room is very spacious and clean, it's like a studio apartment instead of a regular motel room. Laundry is right down the hall and clean with a very fair price. I have zero complaints and am starting second week stay today.

The bed was heavenly. It was so comfortable and perfect. I loved the size of the room and the decor. There were plenty of sockets for plugging in everything I needed. My room was quiet and I appreciated being able to sleep in without housekeeping waking me up

The wi-fi would not stay connected. If you're trying to work from your motel room, this is a huge issue. Breakfast on the morning I went consisted of bread and water. After the disappointment, I didn't try it again and opted to sleep in instead.

They in my room even though I had up the do not disturb sign on. They called me with a question which proved I was not on location and then went in my room. Seems suspect.

Our room was clean and very spacious.

My husband and I like to take the stairs instead of the elevator. The light in the stairway kept blinking rapidly, like a strobe light. We found it distracting, but it could be dangerous for someone who has seizures.

Excellent location. Quiet residential neighborhood. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. Good value for the money. This was our 2nd stay here and we will be staying again.

The shower in the handicap bathroom was not very good. It only really sprayed against the wall. They don't put new soaps out in the bathroom. They refill old containers.

The location was excellent and perfect. The swimming pool was great. The bed was comfortable.

With the name Wyndham I expected more consistency of the little things. The carpet in my room need vacuuming. The dishwasher and one of the shelves was off it's hinge. Also when using the oven, the smoke alarm kept going off every time I opened the oven door. So I had to stop and fan the alarm every time.

We love this hotel! The rooms are surprisingly large, clean and comfortable. We've stayed here twice and have decided we will stay here everytime we visit our son. You pay less than other hotels for twice as much room and accommodations. We had a living room, kitchen, large bathroom and a king sized bed. The property has a nice courtyard out back with a pool and is located in a nice quiet area. The drive to shopping, restaurant s etc is just right up the road. Highly, highly impressed with this place! 😊

I loved the full kitchen! Lots of room to relax, and the bed was great. Crystal at the front desk was awesome! We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this hotel. It was a great value.

The toilet in our room was not firmly attached to the floor. It wobbled when you sat down. Everything else was great.
