Hampton Inn & Suites Owensboro Downtown Waterfront

It was a very nice Hotel. Loved the river view from our balcony and the bridge with the color changing lights it was really neat. The bed was really comfortable wish I could have taken it home. Loved the food at the restaurant inside the hotel The Lure seafood and grille. We definitely will stay here again.

I didn't like that the coffee maker was in the bathroom on the sink. I would suggest moving it into the room somewhere. I went to make me coffee and it had a bunch of brown dust/dirt in the water reservoir. It was pretty disgusting. I just don't think a coffee maker belongs in the bathroom where people go #2 and poo particles float in the air plus where people shower and do their hair etc.

Location was perfect for my reunion event next door at the convention center. The room was generous in size and basically furnished---nothing special. Bath towels could be thicker. Shower intensity was great! Room was VERY quiet. Unfortunately my room didn't face the river which was a lovely view and no rooms were available once I arrived, so plan accordingly and request ahead if you want the river view. The free breakfast was adequate and The Lure restaurant [provided a range of desirable entrees for dinner. An outside band on Saturday night was quite LOUD.

Bath towels and loud band and a complicated TV control and the TV listings were hidden a nightstand drawer: perhaps they should be located with the remote!! Room was dark at night. More lighting would have been helpful.

A complimentary treat for each guest was nice! Staff was very pleasant, patient and helpful and breakfast was amazing! Thank you for making me feel at home! My boys enjoyed the fitness facilities one said was well equipped for "leg day", while the other said the pool was amazing! Thank you!

The bed was cozy, the pillows were terrible, no support at all. I doubled pillows, which was a mistake and woke up with a migraine from my head being out of alignment. Not pleasant when I have to travel 5 hours to the next leg of my journey.

The view was great! Room was amazingly spacious, staff was nice and the hotel was easy to find with no parking issues!

Nothing I can say I didn't like, I did notice major spider webs on the outside of some of the windows in the room we stayed, 700 but I understand the difficulty keeping those windows impeccable year round l.

I made a reservation for 2 rooms for 2 nights, with a verification code from Booking Com. We arrived at the hotel and Booking.Com had sent a reservation for only one (1) room for 2 nights, instead of 2 rooms for 2 nights. I was told by hotel mgmt that Booking.Com makes this mistake offen and and I would have to pay for another room. I WILL NEVER use Booking.Com to make any reservations for me, Hotel, Airlines, etc. I should be compensated for my inconvenience by BookingCom because of THEIR MISTAKE, not mine. Please reply to my request

L location

For a room with a view of the river with a balcony it was sadly lacking. The view was gorgeous but I had envisioned coffee on the balcony. The balcony was barely wide enough to stand on and there was no where to sit it was too narrow to even hold a chair. The furnishings of the room were very worn and it didn’t have even a comfortable chair to sit in

Nice facility and location.

We went to the restaurant on site for dinner. If you like loud environments then this is the place for you. They did have great food. I would recommend sitting outside to avoid the noise or maybe we were just there on a bad night. The staff will allow people to be obnoxiously loud so keep that in mind.

My room was enormous with a small balcony and a great view. The bed and bedding was very much to my taste and similar to other nice hotels I've stayed at. Loved that I had an actual desk in my room and their free breakfast is a definite bonus.

It's a little expensive and really the only choice for a quality hotel in the area. I also had trouble changing my dates a second time when my airline rescheduled my flight, but that was more booking dot coms fault than theirs.

The best Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at, the restaurants and spa services was awesome to have available. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting that area. It exceeds a 5 star rating it's a 10.

There were little league baseball game in town and kids every where. Once in my room i never heard nothing at all. Thr hot tub was nice.

The location is pretty much everything at this property. We loved our room as well, super spacious, it was still hard to get past the price tag, however.

There was nothing we didn't like, per se. The breakfast was just okay, grateful for a free meal, but you get what you pay for. The price was pretty steep for a middle-of-nowhere hotel, but then again- supply and demand, am I right?
