Auburn Place Hotel & Suites Paducah

We stayed here for 2 nights to do some sightseeing in Paducah and Metropolis. This hotel is extremely nice. Room had all we could ask for, except there was no freezer section in the refrigerator for us to refreeze our ice packs. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the darling pancake maker. Just push the button and it makes two fresh pancakes. No messy batter to fool with. Scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy, and served with smoked sausage. Second morning there were cheese omelets. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping refreshed the room on the 1st day, made the bed and brought fresh towels and soap, unlike some other hotels that are no longer doing that. There could have been a longer counter for the sink. Not much space we to put essentials. Shower had great water pressure. Close to the highway, easy on and off. Nice pool and exercise room as well. Oh, and cookies in the evening! Definitely would recommend this hotel.

As mentioned above, no freezer section in the mini fridge and a small bathroom counter, but these are minor inconveniences.

The fresh made cookies that the staff baked in the evening (thank you Alex!!) were the highlight of our stay. The hotel is good, well located, friendly staff, clean, and offers decent grab and go breakfast options. I would totally recommend it!

I like everything about this place! My room was huge! Two beds, desk, kitchen type table, couch, coffee table, coffee/wet bar and bathroom! Great water pressure! The breakfast area was large, clean and well attended. They have this magic pancake machine that’s fun to watch and tastes good too! No spooky back door enclosed stairs. A nice open staircase near the entrance and the elevator. I had never heard of this chain but I’m glad I read the reviews and booked it.

The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of adequate shampoo and conditioner. Bring your own until their supply chain issues get cleared up.

I was skeptical initially about the rating with that low of a listed price, but I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. We liked everything about it. The location right off the interstate was perfect for us as we were traveling through the are. Sure the building is a little older, but it was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly, the value for the price can’t be beat, and I made sure to tell Lisa in the morning that the biscuits and gravy were the best I’d ever had in a hotel setting!

I had to park a little bit farther from the front than I’d like ( since our vehicle was loaded down with all my daughters possessions ) The parking lot could have been a little more well lit, and I couldn’t tell if there were security cameras, but hopefully there are since it is right off the interstate and nothing else around for other traffic late at night.

The location was so convenient, after exiting the highway. The inside of the hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was very cleanly, warm and welcoming. The staff greeted me while checking in. The night staff was just as friendly as everyone else. The milk and cookies was a finishing touch whole resting in my room. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend your hotel to anyone.

My only complaint was the barking dog next to my room. But the hostess took care of my complaint immediately. And I didn't have anymore issues.

Enjoyed the breakfast. Nice variety and food was hot. The front desk was very helpful. We pulled off in the snowstorm, and the next morning when we went to leave our car would not start. Maintenance tried to jump us, but to no success. Front desk gave us information on rental car companies and taxi companies because we were not having luck with Uber. They also helped us out with a late check out and understanding that our van would have to sit in the lot until after Christmas. Very good customer service. Will stop on our way through again, and recommend to others.

I felt like we were in a new facility. The handicapped room was very well-suited for my spouse. The staff delivered a shower chair for her to sit on. The corners of the furniture were beveled so as to minimize injury in the event of a fall. They even served chocolate cookies in the evening - my spouse's favorite.

We had been eating at motels for the past week and every one of them served scrambled eggs. This is so trivial, but, I am partial to eggs over-easy versus scrambled.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming!! From the front desk to the person preparing breakfast to the housekeepers. Everyone was so nice to me and to my dog, greeted her every morning!! Even remembered that I told them it was our birthday trip!! Just exceptional customer service. My room was clean. The breakfast was good and had a variety of options (eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereals, yogurt, toast, muffins, pancakes, etc). Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area!
