Guesthouse Inn & Suites Lexington

Nice updated lobby, pool was on the chilly side but that didn't stop our toddler. Good location near food, shopping and the highway. I also liked that the vanity was outside of the bathroom so multiple people could use the amenities.

The rooms were alright but the bathroom had so much unused space. No towel racks, a shelf up high on the wall that could have used some hooks or something underneath to better utilize. Lighting was a bit too spaced for the size of the room. Has a tub but no stopper to appropriately use the tub.

I liked the friendly staff. They all made us feel like we were at home. Alway eager to help. Had change up front for the washer and dryer. The price was also great for the washer and dryer. Breakfast was bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy, juice, milk, cereal, (hot and cold) Danishes, and fresh fruit.

One of the staff front desk members up front was confused and didn't understand English very well. But he tried. There was a smell in our sink. But when we told the front, they immediately took care of it. Had the price been cheaper we would have stayed another week.

The swimming pool was nice the room was nice in the area is great

The only thing I did not like is we had to call to get new blankets for the bed because they was stained all up and look dirty and the staff that came on in the morning wasn't as pleasant as the staff when I checked in but it's a nice hotel it has a swimming pool and friendly guest the area was great because it's a lot of things and stores and shopping centers around it

The facility was clean, quite, and seemed safe. The staff was helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable.

It would have been nice to have a little more variety at breakfast. What was offered was not bad.

Richard at the front desk is a gem! A couple of gals were carrying a bunch of boxes upstairs and called for help. He actually ran over to the stairs to help. Then we arrived with our arms full of stuff and he was there with the door open for us. He's a keeper!

There was what looked like a blood spot on the bedspread. It could have been something else. The carpets could use cleaning. They're in good condition but walking barefoot leaves your feet dirty.

We were very happy with our choice. It's a small, simple place that was perfectly adequate. It didn't have "extras" but certainly had everything we needed. We didn't have time to try the pool, but it was being both evening and morning and those people were very happy.

Nothing; it was fine.

The room was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was exactly what we needed before we drove away. Location of the hotel was very close to other restaurants and the highway. We also enjoyed the quiet after a long drive to get there.

We have no complaints, the hotel suited our expectations.

The room was clean and comfortable

No elevator so I had to carry my stuff up the stairs and at 75 that's a bit of a chore. The tv was ok but the selection of channels was disappointing, the only sports channels available was the 2 ESPN offerings and cornhole ans soccer was all that was available.

The responsiveness of staff. I needed hot water for oatmeal and a working hair dryer. Both arrived promptly and courteously.

I received an email prior to my check-in saying that due to Covid they were not cleaning my room during my stay. That was fine. Great in fact. They lied. They were in my room the day after I checked in. Normally I would leave electronics out of sight during the day, but did not because of the email. There was no problem, other than an uncomfortable feeling that things were not as I expected them to be. Tablet and laptop were fine.

Comfort of clean room, tv, refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave in our room. Beds slept good too. I really enjoyed the heated pool and exercise room.

The breakfast was alright and appreciated but it would be nice to add some biscuits, gravy , scrambled eggs, and pancakes, waffles to your buffet. Didn't like the stairs really needs an elevator so disabled can get up and down better to their rooms if they can't get lower level room.
