All was great except....

All was great except that my card was charged without notification I got there and payed with another card and in the morning I notice that at 10 pm the night before the room was charged. It affected my visit to Lousianna because $$ was charged twice. I read that I would pay once at the propert and I was charged before I got there, I called the hotel and let them know that We would checking in late because we were traveling from NC. I am still waiting to get that money back to my account.

Everything was great. They are doing some minor upgrades around the property but for the most part, it's clean and updated. The pool was open and clean. Breakfast was decent. They give you a paper to pick your breakfast and when you come down the next morningthey start cooking it fresh per order. Waffles, yogurt,cereal and fruit were availableon the counter but the variety was few. We still had a decent breakfast and got full. Staff was very friendly. Location was quiet and had quick access to major roads. There is a gas station next door with a typical hot food deli. Grounds were clean. Rooms were clean. Our sheets were fresh washed and I could smell the clean florals of the detergent. Room was spacious as well. A/C also worked great. Rooms 115 and 113...both double queens.

The lock on our door was busted and you can tell it was repaired quite a few times and the door itself will need to be replaced because there is nothing left for the lock to anchor into as far as the structure of the door. The paint was peeling on our bathtub. The breakfast was decent but the eggs were absolutely disgusting!! I watched her pull egg whites in a carton from the fridge and make them. They smelled bad and were very rubbery. No one in that lobby ate them. No other complaints. Prices for this hotel chain are 40% cheaper in other areas we have stayed at.....so it was high just because it's New Orleans.

The place was pretty clean. They cleaned our room one day but not The next. I was comfortable in it though. It smelled nice. The breakfast was good, saved us from having to pay for one meal.

I didn't like the location of the hotel. My daughter complained the tub was dirty but my husband showered before i got to see what she was talking about. The bathroom as tiny. I had to use the restroom with the door cracked so I didn't feel too closed in. The people across the hall was loud. I understand though, we had a gang of little kids at one point too. Once I knew what the ruckus was I was able to sleep.

The staff was all super nice and helpful.

More options for breakfast would have been good, especially with having kids along. The room smelled a little musty maybe when we first arrived but got better after we were there. The pictures make the pool look bigger than it actually is.

It is clean, the staff is super friendly, especially the breakfast lady, she was so sweet. The pool was great for the kiddos and the location was a perfect if you don't want to be in the center of downtown but yet still close enough that it was a short drive! Breakfast was hot and nice,you must fill out a breakfast form for every day! We needed fresh towels and toilet paper restocked and the guy at the front had it to our door within 5 minutes. Would recommend if your traveling with kids. There are a lot of restaurants near by.

I dont have any complaints, it worked out great for us. It is not luxurious or fancy but it was nice for the price..

The upgrades are nice. The staff was nice.

In room 209 the top of refrigerator paint peeling off and tall wooden stand and floor lamp need to be replaced had to unplug to turn off. No elevator had to walk up stairs. I have health concerns.

We were greeted by friendly staff and he gave us a perfect room. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the refrigerator/microwave set up. The free breakfast was exactly what we ordered, hot and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The television remote didn't allow us to change option to cc. I am hard of hearing and we didn't want to disturb the other guests. Unfortunately, the other guests were very loud when in the hallway.

The gentleman who was at the night reception was very friendly and helpful and had great tips. Breakfast had a nice concept for the pandemic situation. Hotel is close to everything as long as you have a car.

The phone was ringing each night several nights in the middle of the night - maybe a prank call? I had to unplug it. Unfortunately, staff was not able to see a internal caller history. Breakfast was done well with hot food in containers to take to the room, but unfortunately it was cold by the time we picked it up (we had pick-up between 8:30 and 9) maybe the staff can wait to put the food in containers until the guest comes to pick it up?

The staff was helpful. This was my second stay within the week and I returned because Debra (front desk) was very helpful and professional. The hotel is clean and the bed was comfortable.

There was hair in the tub nothing major.

Bed was comfortable chair was comfortable the card key is a fob now instead of the old school insert slot.

No elevators and I was put on the second floor. Don't have stirrers with the plastic on them during breakfast time.
