Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown

The location was perfect. It was a block away from Canal Street and a 8 minute walk to Bourbon Street.

The staff was very unprofessional. Our rooms were not ready at check-in time. We had to wait over an hour after check-in because rooms were not clean. The front desk staff did not apologize or try to accommodate us in any way. The walls in the room were thin. I could hear people in the room next door.

I like that it was very convenient for my family and friends to walk to different places plus it was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly to us

The only real problem I had was the room was way on the 12th floor which I didn't care for because I'm scared of heights but they did give us another room on the 7th floor and that was cool but when we got in there it look like someone was in there because it had toilet paper in the toilet and trash in there so that was a big no no but other than that it was okay

I like the ease of check-in and the security of the entire building. Darrell at the front door was very polite and efficient. The security supervisor Max gave us very good information. to must see sights! He even escorted us to the Charlie and made sure we were headed in the right direction!

I did not like the price of the valet parking. I think that you can park your car at the same parking building the hotel uses and pay less. I would advise you to unload your car at the hotel and go across the street and park your own car.

I absolutely loved the restaurant food inside of the hotel! It was exquisite!

The communication between Booking.com and Canopy Hilton hotel. When we arrived, our confirmation did not appear in the hotel's system and they had to have a manager contact Booking.com. Also, Booking.com did not hold true to the room we chose (2 queen beds) and we were initially given 1 queen bed.

Did not eat breakfast - everything that we utilized (bar and rooms) was well above average. The layout of the room(s) is wonderful! I hope that all of the Canopy brand is the same, and it would be fabulous if all hotels were laid out with a door separating the coffee prep area and bathroom from the beds, and the bathroom separate from the sink. Did a woman have some input here? : )

Nespresso machines - not everybody likes that kind of coffee.

This hotel is wonderful. Being just three blocks from Bourbon Street and in the heart of New Orleans, you’re able to get anywhere within 20 minutes. I would recommend others to stay here and I hope to come back soon.

The part that I hated most about this hotel is parking. It’s easiest to valet, but it takes about 40 minutes sometimes to receive your car from them.

The breakfast was very good, the staff made it exceptional! French toast, eggs, bacon, GRITS, were great tasting!

Housekeeping, clean towels delivery. I understand about not cleaning the room everyday, but clean towels are an exception for me.

What I love the most about this hotel was the bathroom. It was gorgeous! Also, I liked the bar they had in the hotel. Additionally, the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The only thing I didn’t like was the restaurant food. Also, my toilet became clogged on the first day.

The room is spacious, the mattress is comfortable and the bathroom is stocked with everything you need (the shower is divine!).

I hate that I can’t but the lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner that is used at the hotel!! I love the line!!

The staff was great. The room was nice and efficient. The restaurant was absolutely delicious! We didn’t expect to eat there but we did and the dinner was fantastic

It was a little difficult to Valet. But that wasn’t the staffs fault, it was just due to traffic
