Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel

Location, bed was comfortable, had a safe in the room.

No chair other than an office type chair. Kind of small room for a King size. The included breakfast was good, but if you weren't there by 9am you didnt get any even if people were still there eating they pulled everything. The description states $30 deposit at time of check in and was actually $30 per day.

Corner room with good space for 3 of us (Spouse and 17 yr old son). Two things made our visit less than “Excellent” 1. The AC unit was loud. The fan would cut on and off throughout the night. The return air vent is located in the ceiling. It got hot in our room so my husband set the unit to run continually for “white noise” since the on & off was disturbing. We were in Room 305. Also, we were there for 2 nights and trash was never emptied from our room and coffee cups not replaced. I understand there might be staff shortages and the desire to limit contact due to Covid restrictions. Everyone is doing the best they can in these times so there is grace :) Overall, a great stay. Maintenance fixed our toilet on Day #2. Was A LOT more expensive than what we would expect to pay at a Best Western (normally $150-175/night. $429 way over the top for amenities.) We have stayed in NY and Chicago during holiday and never paid that much.

I love the location. Its next to everything. We walked everywhere. The staff was wonderful and always came when we called.

The room was small and our toilet kept getting stopped up. The air was great. Room was warm at night.

I loved the specialty coffee maker in the lobby. The weekend breakfast was good thanks to BACON. The location was ideal for my purposes.

I didn't like that there was not onsite parking. I didn't like that the parking garage didn't offer a discount for hotel guests. I hated that the weekday breakfast was not the same as the weekend breakfast and that it closed at 9 instead of 10. I paid the same amount each of my four nights, so I should receive the same benefits each day regardless of it being the weekend. I also didn't like that the front door to the hotel was always locked, and that there was no microwave in the room.

I really enjoyed this hotel's location. I was in town for a short trip because of a concert, and the St. Christopher Hotel's convince was what sold me on booking a stay at this property. With it being in the heart of downtown, everything was super close-by and removed the headache of having to rent a car.

My room could have definitely been a bit more comfortable. I was not aware that the hotel was operated by a central air conditioning system and not individual a/c's in unit and so my room was very hot. In addition to the heat, there was a lingering mildew-y scent whenever I entered my room. Lastly, I'm not sure if it was the sheets or the bed itself, but I was extremely itchy every time I would lay down. As mentioned, I was only in the hotel for one night so I genuinely did not mind, but If I was staying longer, it may have been an issue. Aside from these things, I truly enjoyed my stay.

The room was nice and cool, but the vents were a little dusty causing me to cough a bit. There was a hole/mole near the hand rail in the bathtub/shower which too could have caused the coughing and slight headache. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because wanted to experience the natives’ food. Parking was another concern. We had to walk two blocks or more to the parking garage and pay parking daily which was absurd. That really sucked when one had bags to carry back to the hotel and will likely be the result in me not returning to the property.

The room was so pretty, the location was perfect (we literally were in walking distance to everything we did), the Ruby Slipper next door was perfect to go grab breakfast if you get tired of the hotel breakfast, the hotel breakfast was the typical hot hotel breakfasts with eggs, sausage, bagels/toast, there was coffee/juice, it was pleasant. Surprisingly there wasn't alot of homeless people hanging around the hotel in the area, we always felt safe walking around, even at night. The bed was really comfortable as well as the pillows.

the water pressure in the showers were minimal, I felt like i could have gotten further taking a shower in the puddles outside

The rooms all seem quiet and are well-appointed. But the big surprise was the breakfast which was included. This usually is coffee and a roll. Instead, they had a pancake machine, a yogurt machine. A coffee machine for varieties of coffee and another two for decaf and regular community coffee. Anything you could want for yogurt, bread and bagels and small muffins with condiments. Every day, you had scrambled eggs, potatoes and one kind of meat. A $20 breakfast anywhere. The rooms have safes, fridges, good TV channels and are comfortable.

Small thing - there was this huge ottoman that made it a little harder to get around the room. Other than that - nothing at all wrong.

I've stayed here in 2017 & renovations were taking place then. They did a great job in keeping up with the newness. The room WAS NOT worn down like I've seen so many other more expensive rooms in the French Quarter. The room was smaller than I remembered but it was comfortable. It was very very clean. The biggest plus - LOCATION IS EVERYTHING. It's right by the Riverwalk, casino, 2 blocks to Jackson Square, 2 blocks to Bourbon St, 2 blocks to the Convention Center. My view was of the Riverwalk and Canal St which was great also. Did I mention cleanliness already?. Yes, I did but I must mention it again. Common areas & my room were very clean. No dust ANYWHERE. I highly recommend however keep tabs on what & how your card is being used

The only reason this location didn't get a 10 is because my debit card was ran twice for my stay and the credit card I used for incidentals was ran 3 separate times for different amounts. Each time management told me they would fix it, I had yet another unexplained charge. A $380 stay cost me more than a $1000 for the weekend. I'm still waiting for the changes to be processed. Management was apologetic & seemed sincere however "not knowing why" is UNACCEPTABLE! There is also only a grab & go breakfast in which I was not made aware of beforehand. The bed was hard

wasn’t the property but just the bed was very hard and uncomfortable! also misinformation from booking on booking.com, doesn’t tell you it’s $30 per night for incidentals! should tell people it’s a flat fee or rate of $100,$150,$200 whatever not per night! woman checking us is in said well the Ritz Carlton charges $150 a night! yeah sweetie this isn’t the Ritz Carlton though!! smh
