Fireside Inn and Suites Bangor

The location is great for going to concerts. Having a restaurant attached is another bonus. I wish the restaurant stayed open later to visit after the concert.

The room could have been cleaner, I am a housekeeper and I know things can be missed or overlooked. Having another helper check the rooms would help (two sets of eyes are better than one). I wish the restaurant was open later to go have a drink after concerts.

The suite was well appointed with nice touches like facial cleansing cloth, black facecloth for removing makeup (I detest using white for fear of permanently staining), plenty of clean towels. The bed was very comfortable, and we were provided plenty of comfortable pillows.

Although I found the bed comfortable but it actually felt like it was drawing the heat out of my body (like an air mattress would). Regrettably the carpet was quite dirty, and felt damp to walk on; this might have been the cause of the musty odor in the room. For this reason specifically we will not return to this hotel.

Very clean and quiet. Staff were super friendly and a great location. Was awesome that there was a restaurant attached to hotel.

The only thing that was a little bit of an inconvenience was that there is no way to get in through the several doors on building, you could only enter through lobby which was a lot when our room was at the other end of hall. We are also smokers so in order for us to go outside and smoke we had to walk all the way to the other side of building to get back in. Company should really put key swipes on the doors so guests who are staying can access their rooms without having to walk a mile and through a lobby which had lots of foot traffic. It was hard to stay socially distant.

No breakfast available .Coffee just ok. Place bit run down. Room clean. Employees -wonderful.1. helped me carry luggage to room. 2.I had sprained my ankle before returning to hotel. Staff, without my asking, offered and brought ice... would not take a tip. Also offered some pain reliever but did not need as had my own.

The room was big, we liked the fireplace. Showerhead had good pressure and flow. Older place, but very clean. The Pub had excellent food and service.

Street out front was closed due to construction, so had to take detour around. Can go out several doors but not in, even with key card.

Great location for attending the event at the Amphitheater. Easy 3 block walk to and from event.

Confusing parking due to location and event parking for the Amphitheater but on site staff very helpful. Facility could use some TLC. Adequate for my needs.

Liked that it was very clean. Definitely liked coffee available all the time in hallway. Cleaning staff was nice.

Hard to figure out the parking lot. Needs more entrances into the building, you have to walk all the way around to get in, no key card entrances. Definitely needs updating.

The beds were super soft and comfy, fresh towels daily if needed, friendly staff. I would highly recommend it to people looking to stay at this hotel. You can't always trust a bad review, try something out for your own, also when you order food and have it delivered it comes right to your room.

I had some creepy guy starring at me and my girlfriend when we were outside he would walk around looking at us and gave off bad vibes that made us uneasy when dealing with him walking around starring at us, but other than that I can't say anything bad.

The room was good and the staff was very friendly. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions. The restaurant was very good with great food and staff. The casino next door was perfect.

Free breakfast was advertised, but when we got there it was not offered. That was a disappointment. The faucet in the sink was leaking all over the sink top. We did tell the staff when we were leaving and they said they would fix it.

The hotel was easy to find right next to a large casino. It was very secure as you could only enter by front door with keycard. The beds were extremely comfortable and fairly quiet room except for hallway noise. The best extra was an Irish Pub connected to the hotel so we didn't have to leave for food or drink.

The sink was stopped up. The room door needed to be flush with carpet not an inch of space underneath.
