Kittery Inn & Suites

Very simple, clean, comfortable...everything you need, nothing you don't. It hearkens back to the motels of the '50s and has that vibe and charm. The breakfast was simple, tasty and adequate. Robin (mgr.) was cheerful and helpful. Our room was small, consequently I would not have wanted to spend a lot of time inside; it rained all 3 days of our stay, but gratefully The Inn is VERY convenient to Rt. 1 and it's attractions and just a quick hop to Portsmouth, NH so we had a great time exploring the region, both north and south. We really enjoyed The Inn as our 'base of operations' and would definitely recommend it to others on a budget.

There was some sort of business close by that was loudly up and at 'em early in the morning...sounded like they were loading lots of empty barrels in a truck? The AC was LOUD and very near the bed; because of the near-constant rain due to an approaching Hurricane Lee, the temps vacillated and the humidity was high, so adjusting between 'heat' and 'AC' was a pain, but this is NOT the motel's fault - they can't control the weather! Noise-sensitive sleepers: Bring your earplugs.

This is my second time visiting the Kittery Inn and Suites. In both instances, we found the room clean, quiet, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast. There was a good variety of options. We love the location with easy access to both Portsmouth and the Kittery outlets.

Our numbered parking spot had another car in it when we returned to our room, and we couldn’t connect with anyone at the office. It wasn’t a huge problem as we were there off season and there were plenty of spots. We wondered what to do when we are there you are at full capacity?

The parking is good. The staff are friendly. The location is super easy and near lots of amenities. The rooms are clean, simple and comfortable. The pool was clean and pleasant. The only con I have is that their stand up showers are small. I’m a large person and I had just enough room to was and no more. The bathroom is of good size though. Besides that one very minor inconvenience the rest of the facility and experience was exceptional. We will absolutely consider another stay here if we come back to the area.

location was great, quaint setting and we like to stay in “mom & pop” settings when we travel and this fit the bill. Staff were pleasant/friendly and breakfast was light but just enough. Beds were very comfortable!

There we no chairs on our balcony. it would have been nice to sit out there and enjoy our morning coffee. apparently the chairs have been ordered but were not in yet. Also, the exterior doors need weather sealed and let in light etc. Please upgrade the towels.

Very nice quiet location - loved the blue decor in the room - very friendly staff - very helpful as well - the coffee and breakfast were excellent and very well presented. The beds were comfortable, and I loved the balcony.

There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door - no biggie though. The room was very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. We had some trouble with our rental car and the staff was very helpful.

Everything was exceptional! Kate was welcoming and very polite and kind. The breakfast was good. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The proximity to the Kittery Outlets, Bob’s Clam Hut, Nubble Lighthouse, and points along route one was perfect. We will definitely stay at Kittery Inn and Suites again when in Maine and highly recommend it!

The refrigerator had leaked…possibly condensation…and the rug around it was damp. We ran the fan and it seemed to have mostly dried out.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were extremely clean and sanitized! The free breakfast in the morning was far better than anything in its class. There were fresh bagels, waffles, French toast, hard boiled eggs, pre cooked eggs with onions and peppers in them, Canadian bacon, cheese and very fresh fruit bowl. They provided good coffee and juice, milk. It wasn’t the average cookie cutter continental breakfast. You can start your day off right with their offerings and staff will be happy to guide you with combination recommendations. If you are looking to get away for a couple of nights and want to feel you are in a very clean safe environment with a good breakfast I would recommend this place. The heated salt water pool wasn’t bad either.

Nothing

We stayed in room 6 an end unit. I was expecting a bedroom and nothing else. It was an efficiency with a small Living room, nice kitchen area and comfy bedroom. The shower was hot with good pressure. The morning breakfast was better than any chain hotel I’ve stayed in the past decade. There’s a lot of care and love put into this place.

Nothing. It was a 1950s style maine motor inn. Perfect for what we needed.

Great value, very clean. No frills, but all the basics are very well done. The kitchenette was well equipped for simple cooking and heating up. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a comfortable couch. The pool and outdoor chairs were spotless and well maintained. We will make this our stopover spot in the future.

The only downside to this place is that there is no food store close by.

A comfortable, clean property, and easy to get to. Every staff member was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was a decent spread of hard-boiled eggs, muffins, breads, yogurt, granola, coffee-cake, fruit salad, and coffee. The rooms vary in size and amenities. The pool was clean and refreshing. You could probably walk to town but having a car would be best. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

The only thing I would suggest is adding a screen in the bathroom windows.
