Motel 6-Portsmouth, NH

Quiet room, very comfortable bed, large shower with a free-flowing drain, good size refrigerator (in our Deluxe room—not sure the regular rooms have them). The long desk w/2 chairs was very convenient for 2 people. Loved the wood floor—so much more sanitary than carpet. Easy parking. The rate was very reasonable compared to other area lodging.

Our room smelled like smoke when we arrived (but a member of housekeeping came and sprayed an odor eater on the drapes, which helped a lot). Shower pressure was low and the wifi wasn’t working in the whole hotel. Given the reasonable price and the other good things about this hotel, we would stay again.

It was very clean, the cleanest motel we have ever stayed at. It had a great location, lots of parking, spacious room, and had nothing wrong with it. Excellent choice for a roadtrip.

It was pretty expensive for a motel to be honest. It was almost $200 for one night, which I'm not sure you can really call it a motel at that point. Maybe update to a hotel if you're paying more than a hotel.

Beds were comfy and clean, shower was good clean and easily accessible for our disabilities. Ac and tvs worked well in each room we stayed in and the on site laundry was a bonus

Couldn't get the vending machine to work and the overnight staff was less than helpful in helping me figure out if I was using it wrong or if it was not working properly.

Clean place. Was placed in a room that had smoke smell. But, they shifted us immediately. Room was well kept and had all basic amenities. Met our expectations quite well. Will certainly come back again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Was quite this time. Still wish the pool was open.

The few times we stayed on the 3rd floor next to the stairwell. Same group of people were hanging out in the stairwell blocking the stairs. Eating dinner and in and out slamming the door all night. Was pretty loud and rude.

Love the area and was a quiet stay.

Rates are still a little high. Would like to see better discounts for extending our stay. Would like to see the same rates for all rooms. Especially ones with a refrigerator.

Awesome, very clean. Only issue was the painting taking place on my floor, they really should have had wet paint signs up

The inconvenience of leaving and entering from any where within a 2 mile radius. You had to go up a block and u turn to go into town or Maine. And if you were local you had to go 3-4 blocks towards Pease to make a u turn to return

The bd was comfortable the first night, then sagged in the middle the second night. The hotel smelt like marijuana a lot, especially the elevator. As though the shaft used air from the rooms to ventilate.

Friendly accommodating staff. Location Washer dryer facilities.

Large fridge, no space to hang up clothes. Fridge, microwave and TV had to share 1 2plug outlet. Had to unplug 1 item to use another. No Do Not Disturb sign. House keeping attempted to enter during our stay. Needs a better use of space for a small room to have amenities of such. Phone did not work to call front desk. Had to walk down or use cell phone.

It’s cheap and cheerful which is exactly what you want from a motel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. And room and bed were great.

It’s getting a little tired in public areas but the rooms are clean and comfortable.
