The historic property is furnished and decorated to the timeframe of the American Revolution. It’s not a typical hotel. It’s an experience. The on-site restaurants and tavern are amazingly adorned with artifacts and art of the day yet there is modern comfortable seating.

We arrived around 7:45 pm along with at least one other party. We were all hoping to grab a quick meal and drink but due to hours of operation it was too late to place an order. The kitchen was closing in minutes. They need to create a limited pub menu and keep the tavern open longer for late check ins and those just enjoying a drink. In addition it would be wonderful if there were some parties or fruit available for purchase at the desk each morning. We weren’t even aware of the coffee and tea service until the day we checked out.

Charming is an overused description of inns but the Colonial Inn is, in fact, charming. Walking to the rooms takes you through a warren of rooms, tavern, and restaurant. The Inn is right in the middle of Concord, with restaurants, shops of all sorts, and excellent coffee a very short walk. The village is, of course, historically important and a tour by bike, car, or on foot is easy to do from the Inn.

Like many older properties, sound insulation isn’t great. I especially recommend asking for a room that does NOT Front on the street.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room, while a bit dated, was clean and spacious. It's an older building which gives it character and charm. Perfect location to walk to Main St. and/or Sleep Hollow Cemetary and a very short drive to Walden Pond State park.

The bed was not a winner: it seems it was a spring mattress and a bit older - squeaky and had varying areas of hard versus soft mattress. These should be updated. The bedding, besides the fitted sheet, was a top sheet, blanket, & another top sheet. It was incredibly cold and I was surprised that either a comforter or duvet wasn't on the bed nor was there an extra blanket in the closet. By the time I realized this, it was after midnight and I just cranked the heater instead. That all said, I would stay here again.

Wr stayed in the Colonial Inn with our 7month baby and it was great. It was our first outing after our baby was born and we felt the Colonial Inn was the perfect stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the room was large enough to fit us, the pack and play and even have a small baby play area. The restaurant of the Inn was super convenient and food was nice and service was fast. The location of the Inn in the heart of Concord allowed us to visit the city easily with the stroller. The parking lot just behind the Inn is also a plus as we had to carry a lot of things for the baby. Finally around Concord there are easy hikes and nice activities to do with the baby! A lot of great things about our stay, but really what made the difference is how friendly all the staff was with us and our baby. I highly recommend

We had some small problems with the shower in the room (we could still use it but it was not optimal)

I liked that the overall style of it was very traditional, colonial style. Although it was old, it was very clean, with not a single bug, cobweb, or dust to be found anywhere in my room. staff were attentive and polite, and though I didn’t have dinner at the location, breakfast was excellent and prices were very good for the quality of the food.

There was not much to dislike about the property, however one minor annoyance was that the key for the room was a little difficult to get out of the keyhole sometimes

The room (#27) was wonderful! A very nice size, with a very comfortable bed. Everything is walker-user accessible, the tub is perfectly accessible for taking a shower. The closet is huge, there's even an ironing board! The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing in the Concord area. Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is just a short drive away, as are many other "important sites". The Old North Bridge is very close, probably easy walking distance for most people.

If I had to list any negatives they would be: No breakfasts are served on weekdays, though there is a lovely restaurant just 1/4 mile away that serves great breakfasts (this was the only reason I didn't rate the stay a 10). Room #27 could use a mini-fridge, there's plenty of room for one, this would be helpful for storing leftovers from the fantastic meals you serve, and for keeping a few things to eat for breakfast, instead of going out.

This was our first stop after flying into Boston. Had drinks in the cozy pub. Did not try any dining options. LOCATION was perfect -- we were able to walk to the Old North Bridge section of the National Park in the evening (we brought a picnic!), and then to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Room coffee was good (Starbucks). There are a few breakfast places within short walking distance, as well (as no breakfast is served on weekdays in the hotel). Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. (Wish I'd had enough time to read the history of the hotel in the provided room notebook, though!).

Very comfortable room, well appointed, as was the shower room. Restuarant was very good both the food and the service. You need to book a time slot for dinner. Plenty of parking was available behind the property.

Our room was next to a main road which got busy about 6.30am so not always quiet. Breakfast is not available during the weekdays, which was not obvious to us when we booked. Fortunately, there is plenty of choice in Concord itself, especially at Helen's restaurant. Check in did not go well, it was a 2 night stay but they only had us book for one night. It was quickly remedied but was not something we need to be confronted with after a long drive. You need to book a dinner time slot for the restaurant, you cannot just walk in. We were not told this when we checked in. It gets busy with the local residents as well. The rooms are on three floors with stairs, so be prepared for a climb with the bags.

The staff was outstanding. I was there for a work conference that was held in the hotel. The staff was extremely attentive constantly refreshing food and drinks and continued checking after official conference hours to see if we needed anything. The location was perfect. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in a picturesque New England town. Definitely a treat!

The only negative was I wish the room had a mini fridge. As solo traveler, I always have leftovers since portion sizes are huge everywhere.

Good. There were many choices.

There should be drink machines somewhere. We had to pay for a drink to take to the room in a cardboard cup. The room was supposed to be handicapped accessible and was not. The toilet needed to be taller and there should have been pull up bars there and in the shower stall. That's an easy fix. I was very disappointed in that.
