Winthrop Arms Hotel Restaurant Logan Airport

It's a nice and typical hotel in Winthrop near the beach. We had an appartment with a separate bedroom that is also an advantage when travelling with kids. A coffee maker with free coffee was provided. A walk to the beach only takes 5 minutes.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the food quality is very bad in regard to the high prices. Maybe breakfast could be provided as the rooms are not well equipped for self-preparing it and alternatives are missing in this area.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The hotel is close to the ocean where we could take a walk. The restaurant has excellent food for dinner. The rooms on the ocean side have a beautiful view. We enjoyed the historical nature of the hotel. There is no breakfast served at the hotel, but I appreciated the Keurig coffee in the hotel room. A little creamer was in each refrigerator. No microwaves are in the rooms. There is not an elevator, so it helps to have light luggage.

Good location near beach and local services, plus only 20mins from Boston airport depending on traffic. Onsite bar and restaurant very lively and popular with locals. Food service was prompt, good quality and value. Room was very clean and appears recently updated.

There is no onsite breakfast service, we found a local cafe within a short walk. When you leave in the morning there appears to be no reception stsff which we found slightly strange.

Old fashion hotel, in which you feel like a local. They can arrange a taxi to the airport for much cheaper than Booking.

The communication before coming to the hotel was a bit weird. They sent a long text about liability and had trouble with my debit card. They wanted a credit card number to secure any damage I could make during my stay. Did they expect I'll send them my credit card number as a text message? Finally, they agreed it was all right if I showed them my credit card when checking in. But, when I checked in, nobody wanted to see my credit card.

The perfect location the night before a flight.We actually wished we had arrived a few days earlier to enjoy the property and town more. Very charming. Rooms were clean. Secure with a code to get in and out. The area and hotel felt very safe. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs. We didn’t have a chance to eat there but the menu looked good.

We love staying at the Arms Inn when we fly into Boston. The inn is conveniently located within a short walk to the beach, easy check-in, the rooms are comfortable, clean and we've been lucky to have an ocean view each time we've stayed. The staff is kind and helpful and the restaurant is outstanding. It's an easy drive from the airport and to all the tourist attractions.

Honestly, we've been so pleased each time we've stayed, we've had no negative experiences.

Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a little hiccup at check in but they took care of it and really made our stay more comfortable! This was a great location for our flight out of Boston but we also had access to spend our final night downtown.

The rooms could use a little refresh but that didn't detract from our stay at all

The staff were very friendly, special praise for Howard who booked an Uber taxi for us from his personal account as our 'phones wouldn't work in USA - good location for the city and the airport without being noisy and busy - quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend for a couple of days break in Boston.

Old style. New bathroom. Spacious. 2 rooms. Loved the bedding. Staff kept my room neat and clean with fresh towels.

Could use some less-puffy pillows. Grab bars in shower. Towel rack to hang towels.

My stay at the Winthrop was perfect. The sea friendly staff, the sea view, the comfortable rooms and the location made it wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel!
