Holiday Inn Jackson NW - Airport Road, an IHG Hotel

I really liked the breakfast buffet, but I felt like the staff was watching over us a little too much. Turns out that we were supposed present a breakfast voucher that we didn't even know that we had, because it was in a little booklet BEHIND the key cards, and we only used one key card and therefore never saw the voucher! Would have helped if the fellow at reception would have told us that we needed to present the breakfast voucher! I really appreciated the on-site restaurant so that my husband and I could enjoy a meal with wine without one of us having to be a designated driver. In fact, the on-site restaurant was the main reason I booked a stay at this hotel. I was impressed by the pool and the gym, but didn't have time to try them out, unfortunately.

Going swimming, the pool was clean and we had it all to ourselves and just got to spend time together. We also had awesome showers and cozied up in bed and the beds were so soft and comfy and watch some TV and we had a fridge for our drinks and snacks and we made popcorn in the microwave. We had shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the bathroom and we just moved in for the night and had a really relaxing time away from the house. And we had amazing Breakfast in the morning. Like the eggs with cheese and peppers and ham. And sausage. And I had a pear and some crispy good potato squares. The kids had like cool pirate cups with orange juice. And we just were so comfortable. The kids loved taking the stairs up and down the floors.

I'm not trying to be ungrateful but the coffee was rough. I drink black coffee pretty often. It was not so great.

staff was really friendly. view was great from the room. Pricing was excellent. amazing places to dine around the area. amazing drive through the town. wonderful bartender as well as bar. excellent common area.

there isn't much i remember about the hotel that could have been different other than one of the staff memebers serving breakfast told me breakfast was over, when there was, indeed like thirty minutes left.

Everything was excellent, just that I booked a room with a jacuzzi tub and we had to change rooms due booking.com not reserving me the right room. The Hotel honored my booking without having to go through the hassle of calling booking.com and getting my reservation correct. That was awesome from the Hotel staff and the manager!

Very pleasant stay. The room was quiet with a very nice view. Also it was located very close to my destination. Last September we stayed at that same Holiday Inn and it was so nice we decided to stay again! Thank you. 😁

The refrigerator wasn't cold. We wanted to use it, but wasn't cold enough.

The king bed and room were super cozy! Had comfortable bedding and neutral colors and was relaxing. It was extremely quiet in the room, and had no issues.

The only thing I didn’t like was the cleanliness of the shower. It looks like there’s staining on the floor of the shower, as well as the shelves. On the inside of the sink, the overflow hole near the counter had a lot of hair in it and you could see it when you looked into the mirror.

Everything (except temp of big pool-see below). This hotel is an awesome. I live in town and love to come here every 6 months or so for a 2-3 day in town get away, and it’s always an absolute pleasure. The housekeeping is on point, the pretty strawberry blonde chic with the crawdad tattoo was very nice and fun to talk too, then she even double checked with us to make sure we didn’t need anything (we had turned down cleaning service for our second day) like towels or toilet paper and that was very considerate of her to go that extra step. Another guest (out of state!) had left their car lights on in the parking, and I had informed the front desk, and he went out of his way to see if he could find that guest and I think that’s really awesome too. The food is ALWAYS super good! The side salads are as big as some other restaurants REGULAR dinner salads, the beer was ice cold, the quesadilla was AWESOME, my kid LOVED having chicken and waffles for a big dinner after swimming all day! Thank you Holiday Inn for always coming thru as a great get away! We will be back soon!

The only thing I can complain about is that the pool is very cold. Every time I’ve been here in the past few years (5 times in 2-3 years), the pool is ALWAYS too cold. I really wish that it was warm (or at least warmer) because this hotel is a gem in Jackson, and that pool being fixed would make it a DIAMOND in Jackson. The maintenance guy even said the heater was off and not working. With that being said- the kiddie pool and rain dome was working, and THAT pool was warm and the hotel even had floaties and pool toys available for the kids to use!

This hotel had a full service breakfast. We did not eat in it. It also had a full bar which I did go to once. It was convienent.

The commodoe in our room sat real low. Being as I am over weight and 77 years old it would have been much better higher. Next time Ill check on a handicap room.

Rooms clean and managers were amazing. Pool was just what my kids wanted.

Breakfast was a little rough. Young lady working wasn't waiting on anyone (we had to go find her to place our order) , had the closed sign out, and told us we couldn't get soft drinks at that time of day. Overall visit was still amazing though.

I wasn't a fan of the view that I had of the exterior air conditioner and the roof. We had no way of seeing over the roof. The location seem like it was at the end of nowhere. The shower we had needs to have a rust-free shower head, and could have better shelving in the shower, storage in the vanity.
