Holiday Inn Express Marshall, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was better than most hotels. And the great thing is that there was a lovely attendant there making sure plenty of food was available until the the very end of breakfast time. Another employee was awesome, too, though we never saw her face. At about 10 minutes before check-out time, she knocked at the door. We said we were still there and she actually asked if we needed anything. Remarkable! Such a nice, attentive staff. :)

The fact that it uses styrofoam! There is no need to use plastic that will never degrade. I wish Holiday Inn Express and all hotels would start using paper only for plates, cups, even utensils. Be a leader in the industry. No more plastic!

ROOM WQS VERY CLEAN AND BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLANT

I WAS DOUBLE BILLED AND CALLED TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER AIMEE TWICE ABOUT BEING DOUBLE BILLED. I DID NOT GET A CALLBACK AND HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH BOOKING.COM AND SPOKE WITH MY VISA COMPANY TO PUT A HOLD ON THE ACOOUNT IF NOT RESOLVED. THE HOTEL CLAIMS IT IS THE ERROR OF BOOKING.COM AND REFUSED TO HELP ME. THEY SAID I MUST REACH OUT TO BOOKING.COM. SO, I DID. I HAVE NOW SPENT TWO HOURS ON THIS ERROR.

We had a wonderful stay here! The rooms are very clean and smell good. Pool area is clean and doesn't stink up the whole hotel like most of them do. Lastly I will sing your praises all day long on the breakfast, it is fantastic!!

I have absolutely no complaints at all, our stay was great and we will be back in the near future!

I loved everything about the room and hotel, it was a very clean, friendly environment great food, beds were exceptionally comfy they were so gentle and kind to my fur baby they gave her a treat. We travel a lot and this is my favorite location so far.

there 5 nights and had to ask for a cleaning after 3 nights. I had to schlep dirty towels down to the desk each morning and schlep the clean towels back to our room. rate per night was twice as much as last August.

Bed was clean and comfortable. Free wifi so we could use our roku on the TV. That was probably my favorite thing about the visit.

There wasn't anything I didn't really like. Being close to the highway it was a little noisy, and if I had to nit pic it would be that the renovations looked kind of sloppy. Like in the bathroom it looks like the water damage by the tub was just painted over...

Everything was exceptional. We loved the private Jacuzzi. There was also a pool.. We were in the Room most of the time. There was also a conveinient 24 hr gas station and Denny's walking distance less than 1,500 ft away.

The vending machine was down at the time of our stay that was pretty much the only thing we didn't like about the hotel.

The spa tub in our room was wonderful. Much needed for my husband that works construction and needed a way to relax while we were on our getaway. The hotel was literally 5 minutes from downtown Marshall and made it very convenient to visit Battle Creek and surrounding areas.

The first night was very nice. Quiet and convenient. Even though there were renovations going on everything was in working order and well kept. The second night there were people in the room above us and the noise was awful. It started at 8pm and lasted for an hour, no big deal, right? Then I was woken up multiple times from 2am-5am from what sounded like people stomping back and forth, end to end in the room. Perhaps during renovations you could sound proof a little better, perhaps those guests were just the kind of people that do not have any regard for others.

Breakfast was great. Had many choices. The lady in charge was great. Kept everything filled and tables and counters clean.

Liked all. One small problem no elevator. We were on the third floor and we are over 70. I’m sure they were trying to get it fixed.
