Comfort Inn Ludington near US-10

Everything, more pillows made it like we were sleeping at home. The couch in the was a bonus, was nice to sit together and watch tv, we hate sitting on the bed. It had all the amenities in the room, coffee maker, microwave, frig., so we didn’t have to go downstairs to lobby. Breakfast was good, I mention the bacon wasn’t cooked crispy enough for me and the young lady went and cooked some more for everyone and it was perfect. They need a tip jar, I tipped her for her efforts and caring.

I didn't do the bonus question because I have no issues with the safety measures. I was completely comfortable with what was in place the whole time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. And the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. However...

The breakfast could have used a little more variety in the cereal and hot foods department. Maybe a more grown up choice like Mini-Wheats or Raisin Bran. And something besides just scrambled eggs and bacon- like biscuits and gravy? But there was plenty of food and it all tasted yummy- just a little boring. And just a little side note- it's WHOM did you travel with- NOT Who. Helps with credibility to use proper grammar.

The hotel is centrally located between town, the beach and the highway. The room was nice and spacious, but I wish they would have a comfortable chair to sit in. We had plenty of everything we needed for a nice 6 day getaway.

The breakfast finishes at 9:30am and they stop stocking food at least 15 minutes before that. They need more fresh fruit and entree choices. We ate breakfast out 4 of the 6 mornings! They need a comfortable chair at the desk and in the rooms. We had our granddaughter with us and we left the hide abed made up for the week. It left us only a bed to sit on!

Front desk staff on both check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. We asked for dinner suggestions and the one we chose was just as suggested, very good. They definitely know the community. The room was spacious and very clean. Loved the cookie time in the evening. Nice touch with a cup of coffee at the end of a day of travel. Breakfast was good. Lots of options for everyone. Person manning the breakfast was so friendly and was such a good way to begin the day.

Actually nothing worth mentioning. Really enjoyed staying at this property. Very good experience.

I have never traveled with my dog before. I expected a pet friendly hotel to be at least a little run down or, frankly smelly. It was neither. The cleanliness of the facilities, friendly and helpful staff and generous size of my room exceeded my expectations.

Breakfast was not terrible- by any stretch~ but I do have dietary restrictions which means I usually have oatmeal and fruit at hotels. Your oatmeal is the terrible sugar laden instant type made to entice children ; ) usually there is plain prepared oatmeal in most hotels and there was hardly any fruit available. (BUT SERIOUSLY this was an excellent stay overall so I hate to complain ; )

The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

When I searched for rooms, I thought I was getting 1 king or 2 queens. Somehow we ended up with a "kidsuite", which would be great if we had been traveling with kids. I was questioning the rate but chalked it up to the holiday weekend. When we arrived and saw the room type, I realized a mistake was made during booking. The property said there wasn't anything they could do, since I booked it online with your website. .

I loved the room and bathroom they were clean and well laid out. The breakfast was good with microwavable breakfast sandwiches and yogurt and sweet rolls. Having bread for toast and cream cheese would have been a plus. Also the fresh fruit was very limited but that may have been due to previous guest taking more than their share. I liked how the portioned out the breakfast sandwiches so others could find them. Having a second microwave would have been a plus. The pool and spa were beautiful, clean and well laid out. I liked the extended hours with closing at 11PM.

This motel is children friendly with a game room and pool. However some parents don't control the children especially in the pool and aren't with them in the spa. I don't mind that and correct the unruly children when they get too unruly and unsafe with horse play. I would like to suggest that the evening hours for children under 18 years of age be limited to 8 PM and that adults have a child free pool and spa from 8 to 11 PM. I talked with three other couples who were more intimidated by the rambunctious kids and they agreed, and I told the front desk and she agreed but felt I should suggest it. I had to keep an eye on the children in the spa for hyperthermia since some parents were doing it and the kids stayed in way to long.

The things I liked about this hotel is it's of course pet friendly, the staff is very very nice and respectful, my room was clean except there was quite a bit of dust on the tops of everything.

The only thing I don't like about the hotel is that the dog area is very small and on the opposite side you should at least have two one on each side. Also they need to dust a little bit better on the top stuff like the cupboards and the fridge and stuff like that and my room was missing a safe but other than that it's a good hotel

The kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub and game room. The location was ideal close to everything. Staff was super friendly.

Breakfast could have been a bit better even though covid exists. Not much for gluten free choices. There was a dirty towel hanging in our bathroom. Informed front desk and they gave me 2 more towels.. hmmm.. A guy was continuing to ride a motor bike around the facility, no regard for people, did about 20 burn outs on the gravel and stirred up tons of dust. Totally unacceptable! This was our entire stay! Almost hit me and my children a few times in his raging around the building. Needs to be an enforcement of crap like that. Next time I will call the proper authorities.

The hotel and room was clean. The staff was very helpful with ideas for restaurants and places to kayak. Even though the breakfast was not normal(due to covid), it was still sufficient.

We had to switch rooms because one of our beds were broke but they switched us to a room right next door. I don’t like the fact that rooms don’t get cleaned daily. They said it was because of covid but they have to clean them in between guests so not sure about that. Also if you wanted clean towels, you put your dirty towels outside of your room and they replaced them with clean ones in a plastic bag. The halls looked a bit crappy with all of the dirty towels laying around. Covid rules just don’t make sense…..
