Microtel Inn and Suites Manistee

Close to everything I needed to be at. If you’re visiting the prison it is just down the road, a 5 minute drive max. It is also opposite a Meijer which was super handy and it took me 5 mins to walk to (most of that time was spent trying to cross the busy road). Manistee has a taxi service which is literally one guy, he is fantastic and took me most places during my stay. There is also a dial a ride which is fantastic too (and cheap). The staff were pleasant and the coffee was delicious in the lobby. Breakfast was cereals so I didn’t use that as I like a hot breakfast but overall it was great. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. Staff was nice and accommodating. The hotel was clean, a little dated, but clean. I feel the room was very very small, especially for the price. Parking was good. We were allowed to have housekeeping since we were booked for four nights. That's a little odd. Was it because of staffing that we didn't get it each day? I would stay again, but I feel the hotel will loose families staying for vacation to other larger commercial hotels if they come to the area.

Almost everything. The room was comfortable location was easy to get to. The elevator work that's always a plus.

They said it was a continental breakfast. I guess I expected a little more. Little disappointed. Also the TV was mounted on top of the closet. When you were in one of the beds you had to turn the TV and then it was on an angle that made it hard to watch!

The hotel amd staff were very nice, the breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food. Parking was spacious, hotel smelled fresh and rooms were clean.

Our room was really small for the price, we had 1 Queen bed, bathroom, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Overall, I cannot complain, the pictures on your website are deceiving.

Location. Ive been coming here since it was built. Location is great. Staff that checked me in was fantastic.

The unshaved, unkempt Indonesian man that stood at the check in counter and scowled at people when they walked by. Starred until I greeted him each time then looked away like he couldn't be bothered to smile. One day, somebody with a worse attitude than mine is going to fix that for him, whether he wants to or not.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The front desk clerk loves his job and it shows! There were several people checking in at the same time, which can become a little overwhelming to some, but he handled each customer as if they were the only one staying there. His recommendation of el torro Mexican restaurant was perfect.

Nothing

The facility itself was very clean and very welcoming. Decorated cute for Halloween and was very quaint. Super quiet for being off the main road. Lots of people parked in the parking lot, seemed like the whole place was packed, but while in our room we could not tell. Very quiet. Breakfast was very good. I LOVED having coffee and juice available to us around the clock... just gave it a little bit more of something.

There honestly wasn't anything I did not like... everything was very nice. The only thing I wished they had was a pool and jacuzzi, but for as much time we spent there since we were there to go to the casino... we probably wouldn't have had time anyways.

Very clean Staff was great! My fault I didn't read that there was no pool, was looking forward to that. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Pastries and Muffins were very dry even after microwaving them. Had other options as well...eggo waffles, cereal, yogurt, apples juice and coffee. Overall for the price was a great place to stay would definitely stay again. Only minutes to the casino!

Beds a very firm

The room was small but very efficient. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

That the light over the bed couldn't be turned off on one side. My husband was trying to sleep and I was reading, so the light was really bright right over him. It needs to have two switches on each side.

The room was exceptional. When I booked the room, I requested to have a ground floor room. I did receive a ground floor room. It's generally tough for me to sleep in hotels, motels, etc.. I found the bed very comfortable and easy to sleep in. The room was very clean and neat. The price was outstanding for the room. I was expecting to pay more. I will stay there again when I'm in the area. The staff was awesome!

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this facility. Like I mentioned before, I will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.
