Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ludington, an IHG Hotel

I've stayed at this holiday inn multiple times now and it's lived up to a standard I am use to expecting at a holiday inn. Friendly staff, room was clean and wifi worked out great. I would recommend this location to other if needed.

It was one of the few hotels in the area, so my options were limited. I tend to normally stay at marriots, but with that being said. The holiday inn in lundington far exceeding my expectations. I would recommend and will stay there again.

Nice, new facilities. Very clean. Staff was enthusiastic and helpful. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, by far the most comfortable beds of any of the five hotels we stayed at. There were two pillows provided for each sleeping spot, one labeled soft and one labeled firm, embroidered on the pillow case, which I thought was a nice touch. Definitely the best sleep of all our stays. We were on a floor in the middle and we did not hear any noise from the other rooms or even from the hallway, even though we were steps from the elevator and the ice maker. Full breakfast with just about anything you could want from cold cereal to fresh pancakes right off a conveyor machine, ala The Jetsons. There was oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, hot scrambled eggs and sausage, to name some of the offerings. None of us left hungry. It was close to both of the major discount retailers, making it easy for us to restock our supplies and also close to a number of chain restaurants. Right off the main highway into town. Lots and lots of USB plug options for charging our devices and no issue with the free Wifi.

The hotel was a little farther from the water and ferry than we would have liked but it was still only about 3 miles and it was not difficult to get to our destination. I wasn't a fan of the non-locking, sliding bathroom door but that may have been unique to our room as we were in an accessible unit. The view from our room was one of the interior roof surfaces, but we booked last minute so we got one of the very last rooms.

Ashley at the front desk treated us like family. She worked with the rental company receiving the keys to our rental car the day before we arrived. She walked us around showing the lobby, dinning room laundry, pool etc. She was very friendly and called us by name every time we saw her. You have a gem at this location. We flew in from Florida to meet family we never met before. Ashley asked if we had a wonderful time with the new family!

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. Continental breakfast was nice.

Shower left much to be desired. Water was warm when turned up all the way. Shower head could use a little CLR to improve experience. 99% of the lights are all switches on the fixture, which means a lot of effort to turn lights on and off. Would have preferred wall switches. AC was very noisy.

It was a very nice hotel! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and modern as well as very clean. Towels and bedding very nice, they include soft and firm pillows. Even in this day with Covid they have an excellent breakfast included, which was very much appreciated; eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, bagels, juice, milk, etc etc. They also have a little shop to purchase some food items and such for your you room which has a nice size fridge and microwave as well as a Keurig; coffee also available in the lobby. Location was great for us, just a straight drive into downtown and the beach. Also Meijer right across the street if you need anything. The indoor pool and hot tub are amazing, and they have a couple of patios to sit at (one is right off of the indoor pool). Would definitely stay again!

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, if anything I would say it was a little pricey for its location and on a week night. (Monday)

Easy access to elevator, clean room, beds were good, bathroom was good size, staff was friendly.

Price was terrible for this weekend. I know it’s a tourist town but when we have to pay $300 for a one night stay, I expect it to be in a suit and not a standard double Queen room. If we stayed a day earlier or later the same room was $150 cheaper. A/C in our room took forever to get cold. Fridge was also lacking in the cool department as well. Wish there was a small heater in the pool as well since it was cold when you first walk in and took around 5-10 minutes to get acclimated.

The employees are beyond sweet and caring. She said our home is your home and it sure felt like it too. The breakfast was top notch and they have cookies for the kiddos at night(like who does that!?) The pool was awesome and that hot tub is amazing. We were stuck in Ludington in the rain waiting for check in but they accommodated us so fast we were checked in by 1 instead of 3. My 3 kids were stoked to get outta the car and watch some toons and chill. If I stay at hotel in Ludington it will be this one hands down.

I can honestly say this hotel is where it's at. So I didn't not like anything.

It was sooooo clean. The pool area looks brand new- the lobby is beautiful. Lots of seating indoor and out. The room was also very clean.

The pillows. I’m not a picky sleeper normally but I struggled all 3 nights with both types of pillows.

The staff was outstanding, the rooms and lobby were very clean, the location , very convenient. The room, although on the smaller side, was bright, with huge windows and provided many lighting options.

Need more options at breakfast- more fresh fruit, more variety for hot foods. Need more hooks/ towel bars in bathroom.

from so-so to acceptable. Hate the eggs, love the cinnamon roles, Coffee could be stronger...approaching Starbucks in terms of strength.
