Hampton Inn Detroit Northville

The staff was OVERLY helpful in explaining best practices for booking multiple rooms and what hotel amenities were. They went over and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and safe. The coffee was pretty great quality, and was offered at night as well as for breakfast time, which is a plus when travelers get in a little later in the day.

The room style was modern and clean, however, not every outlet on the desks worked. Also, some of the furniture was showing slight marring and signs of wear. Not much, but it was noticeable on some of the wooden accents...

Staff were exceptional and very helpful. Nakia at the front desk helped me with several requests and did so professionally and pleasantly. The breakfast area was well stocked and the team went above and beyond to satisfy requests.

Booking.com was difficult to deal with. Due to illness, one room was not needed. Hotel did a late cancellation, no fee. Booking.com still hasn't confirmed the change.

I thought overall my experience was excellent.

I was surprised that room service was an extra cost. I know things are transitioning. This was my first travel in two years. The added cost was more than I anticipated. I think everyone would appreciate the information upfront. The internet is included in the room cost was also very helpful for me. It was a pleasant surprise.

Very comfortable room and helpful staff. Very easy to be there. Breakfast was ok, but they had bananas, coffee and bottled water all day which was convenient for a quick snack. Parking was easy. Overall and very nice hotel. Will plan to stay there again when I come back to MI.

The room iron was not very good quality and difficult to use. The weather was very muggy and the room was also muggy at times. The air conditioner didn’t seem to be in full force on those days. Not sure if it was just bad weather or an issue with the air conditioner. Not horrible, just a bit muggy in The room at times.

Room and halls were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious and kitchen staff was very helpful. Freshly made waffles and omelettes were outstanding. Will definitely be back again next time we're in the area.

At check in it would have been helpful to know about the included breakfast, where it was located, what times it opened and closed. Also we had some loud people in the adjoining room next to ours and we could almost hear every word they were saying.

Great service. The internet was fast and the bed was very comfortable. Everything in the room was clean. There really weren't any issues. The hotel is also in a great location that's really convenient for getting to restaurants and shops.

My stay was short, so I wasn't able to experience too much. Also, because of COVID restrictions, I don't think I could've used the exercise room or the pool room either. But either way, our stay went without a hitch.

The location, for me, is perfect. No wierd noises. Nice and clean.

The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned. The gal at the front desk was quick to apologize & give us another room.

The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful, especially the 2 young men. All 3 are an asset to your company!

Very congestion area to drive in but that’s not the fault of your hotel

I loved how clean my room was. The staff were incredibly nice and super helpful. My dad and i drove all the way from Flint Tuesday night because i had a major surgery yesterday. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
