Homewood Suites by Hilton Novi Detroit

We were a little late for breakfast, I would have liked it to have been offered a little longer. The gentleman who was managing breakfast got more fresh coffee for us and provided what he could, but we missed the hot breakfast. We appreciated his kindness and friendliness!

Breakfast could have been offered a little longer. 11 would be perfect but even 10 woujd have helped us out! Also, I recommend a special offering of some kind for honors members. Kudos to manager Ray who went above and beyond in the customer service department!

We really appreciated the quite floor. We traveled over 12 hours so it was nice to have the quite space. The rooms were very clean. My wife had some work to complete and it was the best having a Queen suite with a set up for her.

There wasn’t any non-dairy milk options. We aren’t very picky, but we do prefer plant based milk. It’s a time where cows milk was everything, but having a plant based option would be great.

All of the staff were nice and the property was very clean and well maintained. The location is close to Walmart and other stores as well as different restaurants.

It is a good distance from downtown city of Detroit, and the pillows might’ve been a little too soft where you sink all the way down to the bed when you lay down. Overall, I don’t have any major dislikes.

Large rooms, good shower (excellent water pressure), nice work area with a good desk chair, and adequate gym. Very convenient location if you want to be in Novi or nearby suburbs, since very close to expressway entrance, and also across the street from a mall that includes a Walmart so groceries easy to obtain.

Breakfast was adequate, but sometimes warm food wasn't warm and sometimes it ran out well before the end of the breakfast period.

The king suite was very comfortable, with the convenience of having a kitchenette. It was nice to have a pool, as I had my granddaughter with me. The breakfast served was very good, with a good variety of food to choose from. My granddaughter was pleased with all the staff, even handed out bracelets she made while there.

The pool water could have been a little warmer. I was hit by the surprise of being charged a security deposit for the room. It was never mentioned when I contacted the hotel.

Breakfast was ample and adequate with a reasonable choice. The staff were happy and cheerful whatever time of day! The facilities were better than expected and superb!

Checkout is before 11.00am, but when your flight is not until 8.30pm it’s rather frustrating. We did negotiate an extension until 2.00pm but when we checked out at 1.45 we were told by a different staff member that we should have done so at 1.00 pm and that they never allow checkout later 😖

I like the size of the rooms the location was great next to many shopping plazas and restaurants! only thing is there was a fight a few rooms down at 3 am loud and disturbing; this hotel I stayed at over the years multiple times and it’s definitely getting run down it’s not as clean as it’s should be the bathroom was clean at least

it wasn’t as clean as I like saw a few areas that should’ve been cleaned better especially the refrigerator

We were surprised to see a fully stocked kitchen, dishes, silverware pots and pans ect. Even though we didn't use them it was nice to see the options if we wanted to cook in the room. We had a 1 bedroom suite and I liked that each room had it's own thermostat.

Not enough towels. We had to wait until late afternoon to get clean towels.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the walls were thin so I could hear surrounding sounds. Otherwise, I love the location and my overall stay was great.

Thin walls so I could hear sounds all around me. It was hard to sleep in with all the noise going on.

The location was great. Minutes away from shopping, restaurants and activities. Room had full refrigerator , microwave and stove.

Room was not cleaned properly. It was clear there were children in the room before me finger prints on the windows someone spilled pop all over the walls there was candy paper left on top of the refrigerator and drawing all over the door. Housekeeping needs to be a lot better especially during this time. But I always come prepared and clean and spray before I stay.
