Pinconning Trail Inn Motel

There was no breakfast offered but it was a pleasant surprise to find a coffee pot in the room. We stayed two nights and were given extra towels. We have stayed here before a few years ago and things were just as we had expected them to be. The owners were very helpful. The only reason we did not come before this time was Covid. The room was very neat and clean, The door on the room next to ours squeaked but was immediately taken care of when we bought it to the owners attention,

The mattress was a little harder than we are used too but we did not lose any sleep.

The motel was across the street from a restaurant my husband use to go to as a kid. His Aunt had a cabin north n his parents would stop in Pinconning and go to the restaurant on the way up to the cabin about 2-3 times during the summer. Also liked Williams c cheese factory. It was amazing as was another cheese place we stop at and bought cheese plus a few other things for suveniors.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was great.

This is an old motel with a new look. Rooms are complete renovated. A great place for the price. New owners have done a great job. It’s very clean! Owners are kind and helpful.

Could use new chairs, but the present ones do the job.

Very clean, the check in process was easy, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

There wasn’t a ton to do in Pinconning itself but that was admittedly on me as I did minimal research. We were stopping halfway to Alpena so just one night’s stay was perfect.

Always skeptical about small motels. This one exceeded my expectations so much. The colors in the room were fabulous, the bathrooms were immaculate the beds and bedding were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again

It is in the middle of town so views were of streets and parking lot. Morning vehicle noise is there but again the middle of town. Didn’t bother us but if you are a light sleeper and like to sleep in bring earplugs. 🙂

It was clean, and in good condition. It had a larger refrigerator and microwave. It was very quiet.

The deadbolt in my room was broken. I didn’t see an ice machine.

I have stayed here a couple times and I love how my room is always clean and also how everything is within driving distance. The staff are very nice to me and I will probably stay at this place again some time in the future.

The cleanliness was absolutely extraordinary! The rest on was awesome. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was an ironing board with an iron, a hair dryer, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker. We were amazed.

the towels were like sand paper. I was early getting there because I traveled about 60-70 miles. I asked if she had a bathroom. NO NO NO you will have to go to the resturant across the street. I have a medical condition and need togo now. So she said if you want to get in early it will cost more. A gentleman came in the same time I did and he wanted to get his room right sway because he had to be to a wedding at 3. So we had to pay 10.00. Made no sense to me the rooms were clean and ready. No where in her ad did it mention extra to get in. Never had that happen before I went to another hotel the next day and was about 1.5 hours early no problem gotright in

The owner Hank was friendly and accommodating. The room wad freshly painted and remodeled and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the tv was newer with good programing.
