Best Western Vicksburg

The room was spacious and comfortable as was the bed. The breakfast was good and everything that was supposed to be hot...was. The front desk person when I checked in was very friendly.

The pet fee being $30 per day per pet. Because their website (as well as Booking.com) stated between $20 & $22 per day, that's what I was charged. The outside area was unkempt with some trash. No pet waste bags or containers were there; although some people don't use them anyway. Also, due to it being an.older place, no elevator was available.

I couldn't wait to write a review!! This place was exceptional. I definitely recommend this location. We stayed 2 nights. Both nights were great! Front desk check in attendant was amazing! Front desk check out attendant was amazing! Parking was great. Location was safe and quite. Breakfast was awesome! Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice housekeeping service ladies. Clean clean clean. And last but definitely not least. Trina Brown the manager was PHENOMENAL! She cares. And caring matters!! When a person cares about their team and care about their guest. It's a win win! And it was obvious this place is ran well by her!! I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Best Western Vicksburg for making our trip a great one!!

Everything was wonderful!

The motel is very groomed with very pretty landscaping. Our room was immaculate and amenities, like soap, shampoo etc were top notch. The king size bed was so comfortable and the linens were very clean and of excellent quality. Also, the room had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.

This is not something I didn’t like, but would be useful, information on local food establishments that will deliver to the motel, their phone number and hours of operation.

Easy access from interstate. Staff was super friendly. Hotel was clean. Great value, pet friendly and being off road a bit helps safely walk dog.

Mediocre Breakfast, plentiful but not very yummy. Sausage patties weren’t really sausage but rather what seemed to be heavily seasoned frozen hamburger patties. Not horrible but weird when you thought you were biting into sausage. But plenty of choices. Hotel was pretty Noisey. Could easily hear upstairs occupants. Could hear persons coming and going all hours. Not necessarily the hotels fault but hard to sleep.

Very nice staff at check in. Accommodated our small dog with no issues. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was secure and everything around convenient and safe. Loved that the doors opened to the outside and not to an indoor hallway.

The room's carpet was getting a bit old and worn out. Smoking was allowed in some parts of the hotel, which led to a very strong smell of cigarettes and other smokable products in the outdoor walkways. I didn't really like that, but our own room was nice and had no odor. Some tenants were loud around 11:30pm, but one call to the front office silenced them. No other issues.

The room and the staff were great.

The only downside we experienced was the fact that all the rooms had exterior doors. All the teenagers and kids from other parties were loud outside our room, talking, knocking on each others doors etc. until past the time we wanted to go to sleep. Plus the unit in the room didn’t get loud enough to drown out the outside noise.

The night clerk was not very kind when we arrived, and when asked questions, was very smug and made us feel like we were less than. This was our first time using booking.com, and it actually is not a very user friendly app. She was in respects just RUDE in her answers to us. Training opportunity for you and her! Get some class going at the front desk! The morning clerk was FANTASTIC! THANK YOU!!

Checkin was good; desk reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate and timely.

Ice machine was broken on 2nd floor; older facility did not have an elevator making luggage transport more difficult. The bed was not as comfortable as others places of similar cost.

The mattresses were fairly new pillowtops and really comfortable. The room is older but it seems like they are trying to maintain them pretty well. The room was pretty clean except under the bed had alot of lint and trash. The only reason I even saw it was because I always look for bed bugs when we travel as soon as we walk into the room, which for the record they did not have any. The staff were all very nice from the front desk day and night greeter, to the housekeeper, to the breakfast staff. Close proximity to hwy. There is within walking distance a grocery store next door, wing restaurant and waffle house, with other restaurants within a 5 min drive. We would stay again.

The breakfast was an average hot continental breakfast, which was sufficient but not alot of options that you normally see.

Everything !! The Staff are amazing !! The hotel was clean and you could always see someone cleaning..Breakfast was delicious every morning! Highly recommend if you ever visit Vicksburg this is the place to stay!!
