Hampton Inn & Suites - Vicksburg

Even though they didn’t receive our Booking.com reservation, they were very helpful making sure we weren’t double charged and booked us into a beautiful room. The staff members were amazing! We were greeted with graciousness from everyone we encountered. The breakfast was above our expectations. This hotel is beautiful and super clean. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second night. We are already planning to go back. My husband says we will stay much longer next time, perhaps a week.

Nothing, everything was great.

Breakfast is good, plenty of coffee, waffle maker (two flavors), fruit, cereal, egg frittatas, potatoes or ham and egg breakfast thingies, yogurt, etc. More than adequate. Breakfast area is nice. Manager's reception with free drinks and snacks in the afternoon is welcome. The room is very comfortable, but bathtub a bit slippery. The hotel location is fantastic, right across from the Vicksburg National Military Park. Plenty of parking at the hotel, and it's convenient to I-20 and Clay St leading to historic downtown VB. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Some of the seating is past it's sell by date, fake leather worn to a frazzle.

Breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and we had every thing we needed. The front desk was also great and very kind. We appreciated the stay at the Hampton and it was great! We also appreciated the kindness, as we were here for a funeral for our mother how passed away. The kindness of the staff was wonderful.

I don’t think it could been any better then it was.

Room was excellent, clean, comfortable bed, walk-in shower. Pretty much as expected for a Hampton Inn.

Breakfast was ok, with sausage, egg & toast (bread was stale, but that's hard to avoid with people opening the container frequently). Peanut butter & Honey also available which was nice. Apples & bananas and the other usual stuff also available. But overall, just average. Fresher bread, some cheese for the eggs might have improved things.

Excellent receptionist. Answered all of our questions without making me feel as I was bothering them. Gave great places to tour and my two boys 12 and 14 loved the clean indoor pool with my husband which allowed me to have some leisure time on my own. Wonderful breakfast. Great staff!

There was a man outside the hotel who was soliciting for money in the parking lot at dark which made us uncomfortable. I did notify the staff and they were very concerned.

nothing Everyone in the staff wasn’t as friendly as other. the Ladies that was there at checking was was very pleasant and that evening shift made me feel as if I was bothering them. Regardless overall it was a a very good stay and if I have to return to that area, this hotel tops my list.

All the hotel staff were friendly and wonderful. I made a special request when I booked the room, and the staff exceeded my request. They have refreshments in the lobby every evening, and we were made to feel very welcome and valued. The rooms also have a DVD player, so you can bring your favorite movie along to watch.

The pillows were uncomfortable, so I’d suggest you bring one from home.

I liked that it was Clean the lady at the check out desk was Outstanding nice, I will be booking there again. Everything was Grade A. I really enjoyed the Hot tub, complimentary food, and Drinks.

It was nothing I didn’t like about the property and if I could rate them it was be 10 stars.

Location.

-Lack of parking. -Above compounded by lack of markings. Many guests had several spaces . Nothing marked . -Access limited to the one side due to poor maintenance. -Television remote inoperable. -Attention to detail could be improved. Nice building but not visitor friendly to guests.

The location is outstanding! Right across the street from the Vicksburg battlefield and a straight shot on Clay St to downtown Vicksburg. Very comfortable room and the front desk staff are excellent!

The breakfast area was excellent but the breakfast selection could have been better.
