La Quinta by Wyndham Vicksburg

Loved the room. It was comfortable and seemed to be clean.

However, there were maintenance issues: there were no tissues, no extra toilet paper, there were no coffee cups in the room, the shower curtain rod was so slanted that the shower curtain kept sliding to the middle and water sprayed around it onto the floor making the floor slick, the refrigerator had a red circle where someone had put a drink that had spilled and made it obvious that the refrigerator was not cleaned. We had 3 pillows which were flat. It would have been nicer to have had 4 pillows so each of us could have had 2. We did go to the desk and get tissues, toilet paper, and coffee cups but should not have had to ask for these things. Pillows are terrible! We made do but it did not make the bed as comfortable.

Bed was very comfortable, staff helpful and friendly

There was a dog next door and barking, when I called desk I was told there was no policy regarding a barking dog because LaQ was a pet friendly hotel. So a paying customer literally becomes lower than a dog.

Very nice location and stay. Best thing was they accept pets.

Wasn't much I didn't like. Most everything was as expected except. The outlets in the lamps need some attention as well as wall outlets don't seem to work all that well with chargers and CPAP Machine.

Very clean and upon check in gave little info as to where to find things around the hotel.

Only complaint was beds were a little hard.

Location was good for the National Military Park which was the purpose of our visit

The front desk discounted our rate because we had a problem with our bathroom faucet, we did not ask for any compensation but it was nice that they did that

I loved the location and the friendliness of the employees.

My original room had an odor/some smell I couldn’t recognize and due to me being asthmatic I needed to change rooms. I called the front desk and they promptly switched my room.

Location and friendly staff . The best fruit cups EVER!

The room needs updated furniture (old, worn out, and NASTY), room smelled liked wet carpet, the doors and fixtures were dirty as well as the room was is need of paint touch ups. The bed was literally off the rails and scratched deeply into my leg.

The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean. The breakfast that was provided with the room was great.

Some of the channels on the TV were a little fuzzy, but that was not a big deal for me or my family

Staff and Room. The Executive King Suite was very spacious and comfortable. We showed up earlier than expected at this hotel. The woman at the front desk went out of her way to have a room prepared and allowed us to check-in very smoothly. She was very professional and made sure we were aware of places we should definitely visit while staying in Vicksburg.

Nothing.

The breakfast was great! They provided good service.

The toilet handle fell off, told them when we left. Just stuck it back in every time it fell out. I told them they didn't have to do our room but please put some towels in but didn't have any when we returned, the service at the desk is great. The ice bucket was on the 2nd floor but at least we had ice and the elevators were down.
