Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Boonville

I was questionable staying at this location after reading about a lot of bad reviews. I stayed there anyway. 1. My room was clean and very comfortable. 2. My wife and I ate lunch and dinner there. 3. We're not big gamblers, but went into the casino. They gave each of us $10.00 to pay the slots. We had a lot of questions figuring out how to get those free dollars. We asked the first person that worked at the casino and they friendly helped us get started. We had a great time and findly won a total of $1.25. We had a blast and would recommend this location to have a great room, good resizable lunch and dinner and a good time in the casino. Gail A ( St. Louis, MO).

I had no complaints

This Hotel is a small, well maintained property in a quaint little Midwestern town. It’s located next to the river with a large, walkable area including an old bridge. I liked the fact I didn’t really notice the casino unless you made a point of walking over to the gaming floor. The restaurant located in between the Hotel and Casino had good food. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.

I had no complaints with my one night stay.

Room was quiet and clean. Lots of television choices. Loved the talking elevator. No breakfast, but we did eat dinner at restaurant on property.

Clerk could not find my reservation even though I contacted them 2 times before the arrival date. Finally located it with first name last. Did not want to give me the reserved room "because I didn't reserve it." Difficult to find location of property.

It was clean , the staff was friendly, there was no do not disturb plaque for the door it was nice the room wasn't very big but it was nicely put together the bathroom had a tub and that's nice

There was no breakfast offered and the staff didn't tell me when check out was but when I called and asked to have a late check out they were wonderful

Very nice room for the rate.

The smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming in the room and on the bedding. Also, we asked at the restaurant if we can charge our meal to our room. We were advised yes. At checkout we were charged an additional $10 plus our meal costs. Nothing was said about the extra charge. We would have paid cash otherwise.

The breakfast was good and comfortable. When I arrived on Friday the Dinner at Brew brothers was not as good as my previous stay ! I'm not sure what has changed but I had to send back the rib-eye steak and order something different. However the floor manager on duty that night was very helpful and took very good care of my request! Thank you so much. Steve Sumter Tulsa Oklahoma.

The fact that when I arrived after a 6-7 hour drive and was quite hungry I had the experience in the first place.

I have stayed at Isle of Capri for the past 2 Thanksgiving. I was born in Boonville and raised in Columbia. I love the area and nature around which is memories of our upbringing. Staff was beautiful natured kind and helpful as they could be. Other problems was dealt with by the manager.

Upon arrival my reservation was not there. Had to pay for another stay. Reservations was already booked and I had confirmation. Assigned to mgr Vicki Wells who says problem resolved. Still awaiting refund. Did not meet or chat with Ms Wells. But other staff were so kind and helpful.

Clean, large well appointed rooms, best comfortable pillow top beds with crisp sheets and duvet, none of those awful bed spreads. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. I would stay again if in the area. Huge marble bathroom counters. Too, modern hallways. A true delight

Everything was great, excellent

It was a very nice room, clean and comfortable.

We put our name at the hostess desk and told us it would be 45 minutes, which we excepted. We went back to the restaurant and had to wait over a hour to be seated and there was empty tables everywhere. Plus she was sitting people before us that had just put their name in.

I did not like that they double charged me. I checked in on April 17th, 2022, $146.97 they said they added $50.00 hold that you get back at check out, I stayed 1 day. checked out on the 18th. Checked my account today they charged me $146.97 again did $343.94 total now I am trying to get my money back. I cannot stand this I have been on the phone for over an hour trying to get my money back
