Best Western The Oasis at Joplin

The staff was very friendly. The location was right off the interstate. The room was cool and had a good restful night. They had free breakfast. And did I mention how friendly the staff was. The staff had the best personality of most of the places we have stayed.

The toilet popped everything you sat down, made a loud noise.

The pool was nice and was open until 10PM which worked out perfectly for us as we arrived after 8PM and it had been a long day. We had a Renovated room so it was two rooms converted to one making it nice and big. Breakfast was decent - hot scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles.

Because we had a bigger room with two separate areas, a second tv would have been nice. There were no cups in the room for coffee even though there was a pot, and the fridge and microwave were super tiny. Vending and ice were clear at the other end of the building. If it were rainy, it wouldn’t have been fun to walk from our room in the second building outside to the first building for the lobby or breakfast or the pool. We were only here one night though, and the weather was perfect, so it was ok.

Great location. Very clean.

We don't have a pet. There were dogs in the room next to us. Besides the barking, the owners were in and out in the early hour. Slamming their door each time. The rooms all had exterior(outside doors). I would suggest having a dedicated block of rooms for pet owners. In the back near the pet area. I'm not sure that we would stay at that location again.

And all 5 of us could be in one room. KiAfternoon desk staff and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable

Morning desk staff was rude and condescending. Made us wait 15 minutes while she was talking on the phone only to tell us we could not check in for 10 more minutes. Really?? If the room was ready what difference did 10 minutes make. Also asked for a handicapped room and were given a room on the second floor with outside stairs

We booked at midnight I think after being in the road ALL DAY. Was very convenient and ease in getting in and out of facility even as it was very near the interstate. The staff at 1:00 A.M. was super friendly. Room was very clean and smelled clean as well. Bed was comfy but did notice spouse and I had rolled to center by morning. Still…slept good.

Only one bath bar and there were two of us. But that’s common o guess..otherwise, was great !!

The room had been renovated, updated with a modern decor.

Even though renovated, it was still a room in an old motel. it was like the renovation put on on makeup but it is still what it is without makeup. However, it served my purpose just fine.

Love loved the housekeeping staff especially Jennifer she was so accommodating and has be for our last few stays she is a very hard worker with guest and her crew members the crew members seem to really like her and follow her lead. Again Jennifer was fabulous she even made took time out just to help us jump our car from the car door not shutting properly and causing our battery to go dead (thank you so very much) above and beyond

The girl at the desk wasn't as pleasant as I thought she should be.

Good location, easy to get in and out of. plenty of eating places. Hot breakfast was good.

Beds were booked as a double queen. they have no queen beds on the property just doubles. Beds were to small for both of us to sleep in.

Stopped while traveling through Missouri, we liked that it was close to the interstate. We especially liked that it was also close to food and gas! It was a small room but had everything we needed for one night.

The top sheet had a small blood stain on it. Easy fix…Just removed the sheet. Everything else was nice and clean.

Loved the trailer parking availability and clean room. VERY comfy bed and pillows. Awesome shower head. Quiet. Frig & microwave. Very convenient right off the interstate. Very well lit parking lot. They take dogs! :)

The door was warped at the bottom, which let light in from the outside street light. Had it been raining, water would have easily been coming in. The floor was great because no carpet but was cheap pergo, which was poorly laid, leaving big gaps between boards - not comfortable to walk on. The sink was separating from its laminate and warping. which exposed the fiberboard underneath. These are cosmetic things but all contribute to overall impression. None of them affected my comfort — because it was not raining. Also - I had to ask the young lady at the front desk to pull the mask up over her nose. If you don’t cover your nose, the mask is useless!!
