Location and price and clean crisp new decor in room.

The bed linens looked clean but the presentation was not as crisp and well done as other hotels in this price range. I am «old school » when it comes to customer service. The young woman who checked us in did her job but offered no orientation to the property or description of the amenities. I had to ask about breakfast, parking and entrances, the on-site pub. She seemed more interested in her phone than in us and our stay .

The room was nice enough and the property clean. The breakfast was a lot better than most. The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs looked great! And we loved the attached restaurant with this property. Lots of parking. Fairly close to shopping and Route 66.

The person who checked me let me know he wasn't feeling good as if that was then why it was okay to be unpleasant, like I was an annoyance. Then to top it off, he forgot to do whatever to the keys, so when I got to the room, I couldn't get in and had to go back to the front desk. Also, one of the reasons I chose this property was the pool. As long as I had to go back to the front desk, I wondered about a room closer to the pool. This property, I was told, does not have rooms with king size beds close to the pool. The next morning at 8 a.m., which was the only time I had to enjoy the pool, I was told it would not be ready for another half hour, which would mean I basically could not use the pool.

My husband and I are from Joplin MO, and when we go back to Joplin for work or to visit family we usually stay at La Quinta because the location is perfect, the King size rooms are big and spacious, the breakfast is great for my husband and we are able to bring our furbabies! Which is a huge plus for us!

You will need to bring your own pillows! Without fail every time we go back to stay we always forget to bring our pillows from home and have to go by some to get us through our stay. On our last visit we had to extend our stay by a day. Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay in our original room that we had been in for a week prior. Which was no big deal to me, I totally understood why we had to switch rooms. However, the AC unit was so loud that neither of us could sleep, and the floors were disgusting in both rooms! Our first night in each room, after we showered and walked to the bedroom area, our feet were already dirty (I hate having dirty feet)...it was as if the rooms weren't being swept and cleaned. All of the staff have always been wonderful and very accommodating!

The room was great! We loved the three queen beds and hard floors instead of carpet! It was the perfect set up for a family with older kids. It felt clean, safe and comfortable!

An improvement in the amount of shampoo/conditioner would be nice. Four people (three of which have long hair can’t stretch one tiny bottle). The first night we were there, the pool was pretty nasty. There was floating hair and particles in it that were impossible to avoid. I am assuming someone complained because it was clean the following night.

I loved & took full advantage of the spa room that I booked. The water pressure in the shower was great. The breakfast options were amazing & very delicious. The courtyard was beautiful & very serene. Sat there for a bit during the early evening on one night & then again at night on my second night. Had a staff member light the fire pit for us. The pools are both very large & warm. The salt water was a cool change from chlorine. The jets in the hot tubs were strong. My room was located in the back of thr hotel so I could cut through the courtyard walkway to go from my room to the front for breakfast or when I went to the restaurant. Old Chicago restaurant was so good. Hope we get one where I live. Delicious! & our waiter, Mason, was awesome. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long while. My stay here was a 10 out of 10

No vent in the shower to take away the steam, & that's such I minor thing it's hardly worth mentioning

Wonderful dog friendly hotel. The hotel is huge with a lovely courtyard near the pool for walking your dog and sitting and having a drink. Room was clean and comfortable.

The rug in the hallway on our floor needed cleaned and the TV remote in our room didn't work. The front desk was very helpful and my husband went down to get a new remote. It didn't work either but we used the manual buttons on the TV to change channels and volume and that sufficed.

The location was great and the same was awesome as she explained about what our stay detailed and about if we needed any extra items are service.

Everything was great was great except that the toilet seat on the was not attached and my three year old fell inside the toilet which wasn’t clean under the rim where my daughter had put her hands and had too really sanitize and clean her hands and body, not sure why the house keeper didn’t notice that if they were cleaning properly. was really upset about that, also we stayed there twice within 5 days and the beds in each room are different. had a better sleep in the first visit than the second. I will stay there again as overall it was an awesome facility

The property was clean and updated. Amazing hot breakfast. It is attached to Old Chicago Taproom which was great for dinner and drinks. Nice pool area from what we could tell. Cleanest hotel tub I have ever seen.

There were residents that were staying there that were very loud— at the pool, in the hall, late at night. I would say the walls aren’t exactly soundproof in any capacity. additionally you can hear the highway. so a light sleeper may want to consider that when booking.

The rooms were nice. The walls between the rooms are not thin. But the wall/window going outside is thin, and the doors automatically slam.

The semi that automatically started and idled for 10 minutes all night long. :07 and :37 every hour, it would start up and idle for 10 minutes. Also the room doors slam shut, which people coming into their rooms are 1:30AM and their doors slam shut 3 - 4 times within a couple minutes can be deterring.

The two pools and 3 hot tubs were awesome. Even with a lot of people staying at the hotel, everyone had space to enjoy themselves. The floor in the room was great - no carpet so we could bring our pets next time and not have to worry about any accidents. The bed was very comfortable - no problem sleeping at all. The shower had great pressure and the shampoo/conditioner selection was Paul Mitchell - very nice!

The hotel was very busy and we had a room towards the lobby - other guests banged into our door a few times, but that really isn't the hotel's fault.
