Days Inn by Wyndham Joplin

We had a comfortable bed. The shower water pressure was good. All the staff was polite and helpful. We stayed here on our first day of our trip and the last day. The first day we had a great stay. This time, a few questionable things.

We found the cleanliness of our room suspect. We found a hair in the sink that was way longer than either of our hair. There were slices of cheese left in the fridge and there was an empty can left beside the fridge in the cabinet. This made us question if the room was actually cleaned or not. I informed the staff.

I liked that I made a mistake with the date of my booking and management at the hotel was quick to respond to my request to change the date and not charge me any fees.As I was checking out, the man I spoke with on the phone was at the desk and took the time to talk with me. I stay at this hotel every time I visit family in the area because I know I will get clean rooms, a comfortable bed, and friendly service. It is also very conveniently located near many restaurants and shopping. This is not a Hilton, so if that is what you are expecting don't book here, but if you are expecting a clean room at a very affordable rate where staff will go above and beyond this hotel will be perfect for you.

The hallway wreaked of pot. I am not a fan of the smell, but to each his own. It is legal in Missouri, so it is going to happen.

The staff was incredibly friendly! Our TV went out & the manager personally came to fix it. So, so friendly! We also discussed I lost my apple pen while in bed. The manager took the bed apart to help look for it (at the same time he was fixing our tv). We were in Joplin to go to our grandsons baseball tournament & we’re able to leave a day early. The manager explained if we checked out by 1pm, we would get the last day of our reservation credited back to us. I just can’t say enough good things about this staff….so helpful & friendly. The hotel could use sprucing up but it was clean & the breakfast was certainly adequate. I would stay here again anytime!

Easy to get to, right off I-44, easy in and out! An abundance of places to eat close by. The room was cozy, nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Considering the closeness to the interstate, it was quiet. The breakfast consisted of ceral, pastries, yogurt and a pancake machine. There was coffee, orange juice and apple juice. The balcony overlooking the parking lot was small but nice and clean. However, the sliding door was a bit@h to open and close. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The staff was pleasant with quick check-in.

There was trash around the exterior of the building. There was no elevator, so everything had to be toted upstairs, which was dirty. The interior court yard is huge with so much potential but lacking!

The room was spacious. I liked the sliding backdoor to get to the pool. I felt the locking system on the sliding door was secure. The pancake maker was easy and fun. I had pancakes every day. The beds were comfortable and soft. We will stay here next time we're in Joplin.

One set of lights in the bathroom would take a long time to turn on. That was our only issue and they would have moved us to a different room but it would have been on the 2nd floor and that was inconvenient for my father.

We booked at the last minute, on a holiday. That said, everything fell into place. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The hotel looked nice and we'll maintained. Our room was clean and fresh and the bathroom was clean as well. They have Culligan water in the lobby as well as a well a nicely stocked coffee machine. They have a Sundry Market for any forgotten necessities.

While everything was nice, we're not much for the breakfast; being mostly carbs, waffles, breads, and juices. Withno other options it means you can make use of the coffee or tea. Which as the old saying goes isn't our cup of tea.

it’s the perfect location, right off the highway and easy to find! it’s around a lot of food places and plenty of gas stations and it makes it a perfect place to stop during traveling. i live in Texas and I travel to indiana a lot to see family and I always stay in this hotel. i believe I’ve stayed 3 times. the staff is always super friendly and more than accommodating for my toddler and I. I’ll never stay anywhere else during my travels back home.

Great value and location. Always has been a nice hotel.

We book and paid a week earlier than our stay for nonsmoking and still was put in a smoking room. When I called the front desk she said the room we were in was nonsmoking. Being nonsmokers we could smell it bad. I moved the table between the beds out because I dropped something beside the bed and it and there were cigarettes and ashes on the floor. I should have taken a picture. Go to room 211 and pull out the night stand. Really disappointed in that.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The soda machine on the 2nd floor however was not filled properly, pushed Dr.Pepper got Root beer pushed Root beer got coke that was my only bad experience it was a nice stay.

The access to the back door so we could load in easier. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. Front desk checkin person was very friendly, especially when the directions from Mapquest gave wrong directions. It was easily accessible off the highway once we found it.

Starting with wrong directions from Mapquest. The only other issue....when they mopped the floor in the bathroom and by the front door it was left very sticky.
