Candlewood Suites Joplin, an IHG Hotel

great staff, very clean and comfortable.

The bed was too high! We had a handicap room and we had to ask for a stool so I could get into bed. I am 5’ 3. Someone in a wheelchair would have an even more difficult time. I asked when I made the reservation if the bed was lower and they said it was a handicap room so it would probably be lower. I have this problem at most places. I can’t understand why places don’t realize this is a problem and automatically put lower beds in these rooms. Otherwise everything was really nice.

The hotel is very clean, every surface and floor in our suite was spotless! We had a King One Bedroom Suite. Definitely worth the price. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night! All members if the staff were wonderful, so nice and went over and beyond to make our stay comfy. The lobby is nice too, and we loved and used the heck out of the little convenient store they have just off of the lobby. It was fully stocked with drinks, food and toiletries you may have forgotten to bring. My husband and I will definitely stay at the Candlewood Suites next time we come out this way!

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the Candlewood Suites in Joplin.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

it’s clustered in/behind with several other hotels and was not easy to see - we had a trailer so a little more to manage. Also booked early and the price dropped ~$30+ after charged for the room - one week prior to the stay. That’s frustrating - most of us are on a budget.

My hostess Kimberly. She was so kind to my wife and I. Thank you Kimberly from our hearts. You had no idea what our family is going through and your kindness made our stay feel like home. On the room: Great. Clean. Comfortable. They really do have smoking rooms. 4th floor!

I cant say there was anything I did not like. Maybe a bigger coffee pot. We drink coffee in the mornings. 😁☕☕😁

There wasn't any breakfast available but free coffee and items you could purchase from their pantry.

Our TV did not get local channels. The evening desk lady tried to help but wasn't able to. The person who would have been able to fix this wasn't going to be there all weekend. We did have other programs to watch but not what we like.

Clean, nice fluffy towels, friendly staff

We always stay here but this time the bed was not comfortable. I know you have to clean and work but the housekeeper were extremely loud. Have had a long weekend and wanted to sleep in but could not because housekeeping was right next room cleaning. Maybe clean where there isn’t someone still in room next door. Again understand have a job to do but frustrating

Dog friendly and the staff was very kind and accommodating.

There was a heavy perfume smell in the hallway and our sofa bed was stained very badly.

The room was nice and the staff were friendly. It was clean.

It was a bit confusing to navigate to once turning off the main road.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, room amenities, location of the hotel. Our pets were even comfortable and were given treats when we left the next morning.

There was nothing we didn't like.
