Courtyard Kansas City at Briarcliff

loved the location, the room and whole hotel set up with fire pit and seating outside and bar. amazing views from outside. overall made relaxing after running around very nice.

only problem is it isn’t sound proof while sleeping. room faced parking lot and the guys that must’ve been catering breakfast were very very loud. arguing and slamming things around in the truck. also the do not disturb sign was on the room door and housekeeping came knocking at 9:30 am and woke us up. mind you check out is at 12:00. so little sleep with noise outside super early and then housekeeping. but overall hotel was great!

Location is great, as are the rooms and showers. It was VERY quiet and love sitting on the terrace.

At this point in time it seems really cheap for a hotel at this level not to offer free coffee in the morning. I understand they want to sell food/drink at their "bistro", but complementary coffee is a standard in so many places it was a big disappointment not to have that amenity.

the view and staff were amazing

there were only about 20 people staying there and there was some one right beside us who coughed all night long and there were people above us who walked around all through the night. we have stayed in a lot of hotels and have never heard the people above us before. why when there are so few people staying don’t put us beside and above us please

Very nice all around. The room was nice, the staff was nice. The distance between where I stayed and where I was going was pretty much perfect.

I really wasn't aware that the initial price of my stay was one price, then the next 2 nights the price went up. Pretty significant rise too. I'd have preferred to known that up front.

I was disappointed that my room was moved due to maintenance issues, but my upgraded room was beautiful and spacious. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The sitting area and kitchenette were comfortable and well stocked. The pool was great.

Bed was way too hard/firm. I had to get on top of the thick duvet to get comfortable, but even so, it felt kinda like sleeping on the floor. And my breakfast sandwich didn't have avocado like was advertised. The hot tub was out of service.

The breakfast was very good. The staff was so friendly, nice and accommodating.

Can't think of anything that could have been better.

View was amazing, the outside area looked nice but too cold to spend much time out. Shower was wonderful!

Poor service at the coffee bar. Our room setup was odd with the way the TV was positioned - not on a wall but a funny stand. Wish we had gotten two queens vs. one king. Better understanding of how things were working with COVID - how to get new towels, where to put trash, rules for the pool etc.

It was clean.

We originally wasn’t given the room that we paid for. Had to call management to correct the issue. The shower door didn’t close.

The Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The Christmas decor was beautiful

It would be nice to have a microwave in the room to heat leftovers and have microwave popcorn

I didn't like the parking lot construction.Would like longer hours at the bistro.
