The room was modern and clean. The small kitchenette and sitting area would be helpful for those staying for a longer time. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The $75 per night nonrefundable pet fee is, in my opinion, too much, especially if you have a pet that doesn't make a mess or any noise (such as our dog). Many hotels refund the fee after the room is checked and to be found in good condition. In truth, I should have called beforehand to find out how much it was, but honestly I didn't imagine $75!! Booking.com really needs to list these fees on the website. The hallway (floor 2) had a weird smell to it. Sort of like sour milk. Parking was a little tricky as there weren't enough spaces for the size of the hotel.

I liked the room itself with all the kitchen wear like real dishes, silverware, dishwasher. The shower pressure was great! It's a comfortable room that was very clean - the Housekeeping team here is awesome. I stayed in a Home2 Suites a few months ago in a different state and was very dirty. I'm glad I gave this chain of hotels another chance as the Employees really make a difference and they were very friendly from the Front Desk, the Breakfast Attendant, and Housekeeping. The hotel is next to a few restaurants and close to the interstate. We choose this location because the parking was free and price slightly better than the one in central/downtown Kansas City. We were here for a very short road trip and I saw, but didn't use, the gym, computers, pool, patio area, area to purchase snacks. It was quiet at night, good air conditioner, room darkening shades on the window.

They didn't have my full reservation from Booking in their system. Said they can't look at Booking confirmation number. Maybe this has more to do with Booking.com but I've use it regularly to book hotels and never happened before. Luckily, they had rooms available for the other person we were traveling with. For myself, they did have my reservation and gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned yet but promptly exchanged it for a similar room that was very clean. The area is in a more industrial looking area, not very scenic but is close to the interstate and we could drive to most places in 5-15 minutes. I didn't notice any public transit around so will need a car, they have free parking. The breakfast is limited (I think still modified due to covid).

good location close to many nearby restaurants and things to do. the staff were super kind and helpful. breakfast was basic but good, made for an easy morning. the room was very clean. beds and lines were comfortable and the showers water pressure was always strong and warm enough.

some of the nights during our stay were pretty noisy. many children yelling and running up and down the hall.

It was clean for the most part and the staff was nice. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety.

The floor in the room was dirty and left my feet sticky and dirty. There was a few pieces of silverware that were extreme dirty in our suite. The coffee maker was not cleaned and filled with coffee grounds. Overnight staff took a nap outside the first night we were there. There is nowhere stated that they precharge an incidental fee of $50 which would be nice to know ahead of time.

The concierge, Mary, was the kindest, sweetest person we met. She helped us with anything we required.

If we had any dislikes on the trip, it had to have been the price tag of the package. Though, in fairness, anything short of free would have been a little bit expensive for us. Kind of silly to say it that way but there you have it.

would have liked to have gotten fresh towels and new soap/shampoo/conditioner at least one time during the stay

The location is close to fast food options and downtown KC. The breakfast had a great variety and the room, staff, and cleanliness exceeded our expectations. And nice quality toiletries for us. The pool was also nice, just very busy but that's unavoidable.

The parking was a bit rough, especially when we got home late we had to park in the back and it was a little dark and we weren't familiar with the area so safety was a concern AT FIRST, but we had no issues.

We never got to stay -- our trip was interrupted by storms, and we were forced to stay at another hotel that we did not enjoy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave us a full refund. I wish we could have stayed at the hotel -- it looks very nice! If we are ever in the area, we'll be sure to book a room there.

I liked really everything except what was mentioned above. The location was convenient and there was an accurate amount of parking. There was a fire pit to enjoy with comfortable seating. Coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate, and fresh fruit were available all day. There was a mini store inside the hotel for belongings a traveler may forget to pack. The breakfast was phenomenal with vanilla waffles and choices of condiments such as apple butter, Nutella, and jellies. There were warmed bagels, toast, yogurt, just to name a few more options provided for breakfast. The pool was warmed and clean. Our room had partial kitchens with dishware provided. That makes for a delightful getaway from home. There was a rolling table which made breakfast more enjoyable. We were able to sit at the bed and roll the table up. Perfect for people with children! Also, they provide pack n plays! Everything in the room was extremely clean. I enjoyed all of the staff. They were polite and efficient. I would stay at this hotel anywhere I travel.

I did not like not having a bath tub and the smokers area being by the main doors. Also, pool towels provided in the pool room would be convenient. Did not like the nonrefundable pet deposit.

Great location, clean rooms, very nice staff

I have stayed at this location 3 different times now. Can we please get more towel sets in the room? Every time, we've had to ask for extra or make do without. This is my only complaint and it seems like such an easy thing to fix. 2 complete towel sets for a double room, please.
