Railing into hot tub lose. Almost fell. Hot tub not clean. Pool was clean

The young ladies at the front were so welcoming and friendly that we immediately felt at home. Rooms are older but were exceptionally clean and cozy. the pool and hot tub were also perfect. I seen previous comments that the hot tub was dirty. Well sitting right under a big ol pine and between other foliage it’s bound to get some debris during the day. I’ll take the peaceful quiet location of it over a few needles and leaves any day. When I left behind a personal item the staff were quick to call and notify me of it (this has never happened to me before when I’ve left an item behind). This is an older motel and if you’re looking for luxury you will not find it. But if you’re looking for relaxation and comfort you can’t go wrong.

loved everything

The setting on the hill is so beautiful. The rooms are big and clean with very comfy beds!

It would be so nice to have some privacy sheets on the windows. There are people walking past the way it is set up and it wasn’t ver private in the room with the drapes open. Great privacy drapes for night though!!!! Also the pet fee is a touch high, instead of a stay fee it was daily at 25 per dog. It was disclosed in our booking so it was not a surprise. That 200.00 added a fair bit extra to our stay. But we were happy to be able to have them here.

This property is a motel with swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Chek in was efficient and friendly. There were no dining facilities on site except basic hotel room facilities (safe, kettle, fridge and m'wave). We had a problem with a spare wheel . Justin in particular went over and above what I would have considered helpful. Other staff members were also very helpful too. If we were to return to Bigfork I would stay again

To have a shower at the pool area.

This was my 3rd stay at the Country Inn basis 2 very good previous stays. Josh, the front desk clerk, was very friendly and welcoming and is a great "front door" for this property. The room was spacious, had an electronic fireplace, very cold refrigerator, microwave, and flat screen TV that you could sign in for Netflix. Clean and comfortable. Very reasonably priced....and....free cookies and cold bottled water just for the asking! I will be staying here again. The real test is whether or not you would bring your wife to stay here. Well....I would and I will! Chuck in Montana

My friend and I wanted a place close to the Spartan Race site and also close to downtown - this location was perfect for our needs! The price can't be beat, the room size was quite large, and it was very clean. The rooms were definitely dated, but that wasn't a concern at all for us, we like thing more rustic anyway! Great motel and very friendly staff as well!

There was some noise between rooms, but given it's an older motel this wasn't unexpected.

Large room; clean; comfortable, quiet.

The price. 2 years ago I stayed here for around $100 per night….even less 4 years ago. The current rate of $260 per night is a clear case of gouging. We like the property but it is no longer a value. The entire Flathead valley is over priced and we will choose other areas in Montana to visit next year.

Clean room with modern tub/shower. Heater kept me warm. Nice sized tv and the room was equipped with a large frig and microwave.

There is no radio/clock. I found this very odd. This is the first motel room I've stayed in that did not have a clock. The bed seems to slope slightly downward toward the head, but the mattress is firm. There definitely needs to be a light added to the outside area. This room is clear back in the corner on the second floor, and there is no light outside the door. Even though I felt safe at The Timbers Motel, an unlit entryway could be a security issue.

Overall, I can't say enough good things about this property! With a close proximity to Glacier National Park, the small town of Bigfork, and Flathead Lake, it was the perfect little place for my mom and I to stop on our cross-country roadtrip. From the minute we got there - super early for check in, I might add - the staff was friendly, gracious, and welcoming. Although the lodging isn't exactly upscale, it was clean and comfortable, and had a very cute retro vibe. We especially loved the lawn chairs which were ideal for enjoying a cold beverage under the stars at the end of a long day hiking or exploring the area. Ditto for the pool, which was one of the few we found during our travels as many properties closed theirs' due to staffing shortages. We saw signs of short-handedness at this property too, with many staff members wearing multiple hats and performing duties outside of their normally assigned job description or staying for extremely long shifts. Through it all, everyone we encountered was friendly and good-natured, and you could tell they worked hard to ensure the comfort of their guests. We appreciated all of the efforts put in and definitely felt like this was one of the best stays of our trip!

This is not a new motel, but it has been well kept up. The room included a refrigerator and microwave and was very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with suggestions for places to eat. The beds were comfortable. This place is quiet and very lovely.

The dog walk area is small and not very well maintained. There are a lot of stairs to reach your room, even on the first floor, which could be a hinderance to some. The access (entry drive) will come on you quickly if you are heading south, and the drive is rather steep in places.
