Motel 6-Albuquerque, NM - North

The staff was great, and the room was comfortable enough. I asked for a first floor room and they accommodated me although they charged me an extra $4. It was worth it to me not to have to carry things up the stairs at 11 PM at night. There's a patch of real grass for the dogs behind the hotel. I appreciate that because Albuquerque is usually nothing but sticker burrs, even at hotels that accommodate dogs.

The cable didn't work. When I went down and asked the guy they apologized for putting me in that room because they'd forgotten about the cable. They asked me if I wanted to move but it was too late and I was too tired and I told them no. Too bad. I would have liked to watch TV and relax a little bit.

The location to our needs were not bad. We loved the fact it felt safe and secure. Staff was very pleasant. Surprised and very pleased with the fact they cleaned the rooms and replaced towels each day. Great job and will look forward to staying there again.

Other people with dogs NOT cleaning up after them. Traveling with dogs is a choice but in turn pet people should also respect property and take the time to clean up after them

The property is in good location and have a very friendly staff. Joseph the guy was helping us was super nice. Helping us to get the room close to the front door. Very helpful for our elderly family to walk closer to the parking lot. Thanks to him for being so kind to all of his customer. Anyway we love our room because we have a refrigerator and microwave oven.

The front door was very dirty due to the cigarettes butts. We still smells all the smoke and it was so nasty to see the cigarette butts all over the main entrance door. Ashtray need to be move down away from the main entrance.

Wow!!! Such a pleasant surprise to find this clean and comfortable Motel 6. Motel 6 stays have not always been that way for me. But for this location, unbelievably clean rooms!!! A couple of could improve areas, but for the rate, I was pleased. And I am a particular person. I would recommend this property. No frills. I was on a quick trip to Albuquerque for one night. I saw no need for a 200.00 room. so, took a chance and glad I did. sheets were super clean. No order in the room. It looked well dusted and wiped down. I even take my own cleaning wipes to make sure, well, no dirt or dust!!!! Everyone knows the horror stories of dirty remotes and phones. Well, not here on this visit. Impressed. But remember I said no frills. The hallway carpet tiles, a little worn. But no trash anywhere. Good location for all around Albuquerque. Give them a chance, but don’t look for shampoo or conditioner in the room. no blow dryer. Like I said, no frills.

The room was just the right size for me and mt dog. The mattress was very comfortable The heater/cooler worked perfectly. I will stay there next time i am in town.

I was next to the elevator and other guests were loud. Not the fault of Motel 6.

This Motel 6 is an excellent base if you want to attend the early morning activities at the Balloon Fiesta. It is an easy walk of less than 2 miles to the Fiesta grounds. We love walking past all the cars backed up for miles waiting to drive in. The staff has put together a nice packet of info on the Fiesta.

I don’t like that they triple their rates for the week if the Fiesta. But it is still worth it to avoid getting up at 3 am to try to drive there.

Friendly, helpful staff. Knowledgeable about area and Balloon Fiesta. Good location. Sheets fresh and clean.

Needs to be renovated. Stairwell had a strange odor, the door to my room was difficult to close completely, carpet squares in one section of the hallway had glue (I hope) all over them, not all of the lights worked in the room.

No breakfast. Location was perfect.

The room was nice and bed was comfortable . But only one thing was the room smells bad it smells like Cat pee right in the corner of the bed, I sprayed my odor spray it still smells and the window was open all night.

it was clean and cozy

no fridge, no microwave, no blow dryer, no coffee.... pool was empty and vending machines were not wrking ... over all it was pretty good
