Sonesta Simply Suites Albuquerque

The suite was exceptionally large and comfortable, similar to a studio apartment. The air/heat was easy to manage and kept a comfortable temperature. Parking was ample, and the parking area was well-lit and felt safe.

I arrived just after 3 p.m. with a reservation after an 8-hour drive and was told that I would be charged a fee for early check-in. This felt like a blatant gouge as well as adversarial and punitive to travelers. Exhausted, I checked in with the $15 penalty, and also decided in that moment that this would be my last time at this hotel where I've stayed many times over the years.

Room was very clean. Loved the kitchen and supplies. Used a couple of them. LOVED the desk/drawers/shelves and table combo. That was super effective for us (2 of us) to eat and work at the same time. The first night I was planning to suggest that there be a trashcan in the bathroom, but the 2nd night I found that there was one under the sink in the cabinet. The bath towels were nice and fluffy. It was great to have the shelves to put our stuff, rather than on the counter.

Our room (107) only had one table chair. I would have requested a second chair, but we worked it out. That is the only thing I can think of to complain about.

very clean room very nice I like that the room had dishes and a dish washer they even had little salt and pepper shaker thought that was cute.they even had pump bottles in shower with shampoo conditioner and body wash

the alarm from the arroyo all night long very annoying and I havn't received my 50 dollar deposit yet

Loved everything about it, the security they take is outstanding and the kitchenettes are just wonderful..

The price, I payed 500 when I checked in, but upon checkout I owed 400, so 900 for the 15 nights .. now however I'm paying 500 for one week, so I'm a little disappointed in their prices but other than that superb place

Enough room with chairs to sit, so we didn't have to sit on beds.

Need more utensils in kitchen. Hotels these days have big HIGH beds, hard to get into when you are only 4'8" tall. This is true for most hotels, not just this facility. We now travel with a stool.

We found Sonesta through booking.com when the hotel we had reserved was overbooked. I was surprised at how lovely the hotel was considering the price. We will be staying there next time we come to Albuquerque.

WE could not find the included breakfast, but it was not a big deal since we had breakfast plans each day we were there anyway.

Area, but that's by default. Don't care for big cities.

Front desk guy was really personable, I think his name was Martin? The room was nice and clean, bed comfortable. Used to be a Candlewood Suites, still feels like one. Good place for a night or two. Lots of negative reviews remark on the place smelling strange/not being clean. It's a 2 star hotel, and at $89 a night it's a decent deal. Just don't go in expecting 4 stars and you'll be good. :)

Very friendly helpful staff, free laundry, provided broom when needed, layout was exceptional, fully equipped kitchenette, except for frying pan, ease of obtaining additional towels

The price was on the modest end, BUT the room was spotless. The A/C worked wonderfully which is important in the summer in Albuquerque. My stay was only one night, but the room has a useable kitchen and would be good for multiple day stay. Check in staff was friendly, quick and efficient. A very good experience.
