Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Albuquerque - North Balloon Fiesta Park, an IHG Hotel

The beds are comfy specially the pillows. I also liked that I forgot my shampoo and they had good quality shampoo, conditioner, lotion and the hair dryer is also a plus.

The nigh shift lady was not customer service oriented at all. The lobby, the elevator and the swimming pool area needs more detail cleaning attention. We had to wait a long time to have breakfast because the weren’t prepared to refill on timely manner.

I want to start with with the breakfast area and the breakfast in general. it has a full breakfast and the guy JESSIE is awesome, friendly and really cares about the guests to eat a good filling breakfast before taking off for the day! The eggs were so good as well as the sausage biscuits and gravy and all the muffins…we were extremely hungry from traveling a lot. He’s a hard worker from what i can tell as after he cooks it all he keeps the area really clean. The hotel was very clean upon entering and the room was clean as well except for the bathroom floor, it had some sort of black dirt streaks from a mop (from what it looked like). it wasn’t a big deal however, I just put a towel down so it didn’t matter much to us. The room was very nice and cozy & the bed was really comfortable as well as the choices in the pillows. The bathroom door does stick a bit but it’s not a big deal, it just needs some WD-40 on the handle or something. All in all it was great!

not too much to dislike.

The room looks good and clean with necessary electrical devices and household furniture. The breakfast is ample and tasteful. The bed is softly comfortable. The location is not far from the Balloon Fiesta Park.

The staff was not at the reception desk when I arrived. She was sitting at a table in the lobby. When I left the hotel later, she was outside to smoke. The location is a bit far from downtown and major shops and fancy restaurants.

Honestly, the most enjoyable was the customer service. I am huge on customer service as nowadays, it seems that people are losing the value in customers. Both Judy and Andrea was amazing! More than pleased with them, especially Ms Judy. Thank you for making my stay welcomed.

The toilet ran for two days and would not flash the last day but also I didn’t report it.

clean and comfortable

Room was on 3rd floor at far end if hall from elevator. had asked for easy access as have difficulty walking. Front desk was curt when i checked in saying “ Thats all we have available “. Had booked room well in advance !

Hot breakfast, bonus was the to go plates/bag so when eating area was full just take your food to go. Happy kids! location was awesome too. close to freeway, gas station right next door.

almost cancelled when notification that elevator didn't work but still decided to stay because they accommodated us with 2nd floor. But 2nd day it was working. worked out perfectly.

We have stayed there before the first room was a bit small but comfortable and the second time room was a little bigger. Same amount of people stayed in room as last so it was more of where the room was

Breakfast was good but ran out of food fast, which is great but more preparation would be nice so we didn’t have to wait when we needed to get going

The hotel room was comfortable, clean and the pool/ Spa & Gym was clean and awesome. The breakfast was very delicious and I love the selections they had.

Just needs more cleaning in elevators to help keep up with COVID sanitation that the hotel is respectful keeping up with.

Location was great n breakfast was very good. Hot items were hot n coffee was good. Would have liked some unsweetened oatmeal- instant okay, but used to get a crock of real oatmeal at many hotels. 2alnuts n raisins were available- a huge plus, but there was only already sweetened packets.

Bathroom was a bit small. I hate towels hung above or by toilets - toilet spray is a real nasty issue. Towels were a little stiff, too.

Convenient freeway access, indoor pool. Simple (essentials) continental breakfast and many good food choices nearby. Clean and comfortable and great price for amenities provided.

We really can’t say anything negative. It wasn’t a 5 star resort but for the room cost it perfectly suited our needs.
