The property was by far better than expected. This was a stop in for a break over for a longer trip for us and the only town around with hotels. Robin Hood by far exceeded our expectations. It had a lot of the vintage appeal but was by no means old or run down. It has been kept up with the original appeal of the motel. It was SUPER clean with the old nostalgic appeal. Heated outdoor pool which our families loved! The man working the front desk (I hate I can’t remember his name, but was family to the owners) was exceptionally nice and helpful.

Check-in was a breeze. Friendly staff. The pool was nicely maintained. The room was sizeable, even with the two queen beds. One story, out front parking, the lighting outside is great. We ordered pizza, it was there so quickly, and the delivery guy was super nice. We'd stay again.

The BEDS. 😭 They were SO, SO HARD. I mean, HARD. I was uncomfortable, I couldn't settle in. After driving all day, I would have liked a bed that was softer with a few more pillows 🫶

This old-style motel had been lovingly cared for. It was spotlessly clean and had been sympathetically updated as required. The room, a double queen, was HUGE ... Just perfect for my wife and I to share with her daughter and our granddaughter. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Great value for money.

The pillows ... one per person ... were rather flat and dead. But I'm sure had we gone to reception and asked for an extra one each they would have obliged!

This property was so much more than we expected! We originally chose to stay cause this is one of the only places that offers a pool but it was such a pleasant surprise! This motel has recently changed ownership and you can tell that the new owner is sure doing their best to make the property more up to date! We enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait to come back no see how much more improved it becomes! Such a great value in my opinion!

No breakfast but that’s understandable since it’s obvious they are making improvements.

No breakfast, but a nearby restaurant serves breakfast. The location was great. Just a couple of miles from the Interstate, and right off Hwy. 64, so it was very quiet and restful, but easy to get to. The room was super clean, and odor-free, even though it's a room that allows pets. The blackout curtains were perfect. The bed was comfortable. There's a nice grassy area for pets. The proprietors were very friendly.

we booked a room with 4 beds, which worked out so well for our visit. the room was a bit dated, but you can see that they take amazing care of their rooms. we got in super late, and were met with understanding and kindness.

not that we didn’t like, but just pointing out that the vents/filters on the ac units were a bit dusty. only notice because my daughter gets super bad allergies to dust. this happens in most places, so it’s not a big deal to us.

It was the old mom pop motel that was taken care of . Clean comfortable .The bath faucets door knobs shine . Well accented . Down to the push button Phone.. And old type key when you open the door you felt comfortable..

The town wasn't much , But the older town was a place you can find a place to eat & nice town folk.. Give it a try ....

Your staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. I especially liked the pizza place that was recommended when I asked about a good place to eat in town. They had the best pizza I've had in a long time.

The shower head needs to be about a foot taller or add an extender to it.

The property was nice, clean and well taken care of, and the owners and staff were nice and courteous.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, not only for this 48 year old guy with back problems, but also my 2 teenagers woke up several times through the night because the mattresses were so uncomfortable.

Not something we didn't like, but something readers should know.........This is an old motel which has some updates such as the bathroom, etc. It still has many old features. It is very basic but is very adequate. Most important it was very clean and the bed was pretty comfortable.
