Elevate Hotel at Sierra Blanca Ruidoso, Ascend Hotel Collection

The location was good. The beds were comfortable.

My husband was bit by some kind of bug while sleeping. he had six bites in the morning when he awoke. The lady who checked us in was quite aloof and didn’t give information about breakfast and check out time until asked. The carpets in the hallways need to be replaced or have a deep cleaning.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Nice sized swimming pool and very nice hot tub for relaxing in. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection and excellent coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal with most sights a short drive away.

The pool was quite cold. The hot tub was excellent but as it was quite small, you often had to wait your turn to use it. The shower head in the bathroom was quite low and not easily adjustable. The provided toiletries were minimal and not great quality.

The staff was super friendly! We only got 1 room key and forgot it in the room. They were quick to make us another one. The rooms were very spacious (king bed with sofa bed) for our family of 4. Shopping was literally down the road from the hotel so that was a plus!! Beds were comfy and the pool was nice for my kids. Also used the dryer in the laundry room and it was great!

Lobby was very basic, not very inviting compared to other hotels I wanted to book with. The parking lot in front was very minimal unless you parked on the bottom or sides and walked to the front entrance. Can't rate the breakfast because we ate at The Cornerstone Bakery and Cafe.

Great staff, the breakfast was awesome.. It's different each morning. (Which is a plus.)Clean rooms n bathrooms.. quiet in the hallway. I gave it a 9 out of a 10 because the coffee pots needs to be cleaned after every guest. My coffee pot still had its Starbucks coffee pot in it from the guest before my husband and I stayed

Could not easily locate ice machine; Gym facility was nit ready and website should have stated that it was being updated. Also, breakfast seemed rationed. The attendant kept bringing out muffins with her hands vs a tray, eggs in a bowl to refill. All breakfast items should be plentiful not in small spurts when it runs out and food on serving trays. The attendant wore gloves and smiled a lot; seemed friendly.

The facility and room were clean. Breakfast hours were convenient. The front desk and breakfast room help were outstanding.

Due to the clientele, the hallways were noisy at times. The hot portion for breakfast was exactly the same every morning, i.e., scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage patties. Reserved a King room, but ended up with 2 Queens.

The staff was friendly and gave us lots of information about our room and the amenities. The room was large and very comfortable. The pool was clean and warm. The kids had a great time playing in the water!

It was weird that the kitchen didn’t have a counter top. It was just a big open area with a mini fridge and microwave. It was also strange and unsanitary for the coffee pot to be in the bathroom. It would make more sense to move this to the kitchen.

Love everything about this property. Staff, location, cleanliness, breakfast, and customer service. Staff is very polite making your stay comfortable and feel like home! Second time staying here and will continue to make this our go to hotel when traveling to Ruidoso.

would recommend having complimentary paper plates and utensils inside the room rather than having us go down stairs and ask.

Angelo who was working the front desk was excellent. He was efficient, friendly and helpful and was immediately able to resolve an issue with our thermostat. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty although some fruit would be a nice addition.

Television at breakfast was blaring MSNBC. It would have been much better to have something less divisive on at a lower volume (such as the weather).

The easy-to-find location of this property is a big plus first and foremost. It is quite new… very pretty decor, very clean, comfortable and the rates are reasonable, plus, it offers free breakfast. Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff for sure! Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!!!

The only thing that could use improvement is the breakfast, to include fresh fruit. Other than that, there isn’t anything else, I didn’t like.
