Pinecliff Village Resort

we loved it, the receptionist was very accommodating, friendly, and gave us a binder with wifi password, information about pool, nearby attractions, instructions etc. Very clean & The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, bowls, dish soap, sponge, plates, pots & pans. They provided plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, shampoo & conditioner. Great location.

the only downside was that it was cold and they charged $50 plus $5 for wood if we wanted to use fireplace. & sofa bed was very uncomfortable for my son.

This was our second time and we loved it again. The staff is so nice and friendly. The pool is nice, the place is in a good location because it’s close to everything. We also loved the convenience of having a laundry room!

We do wish the pool would close a little bit later. We also wished that the sofa beds be checked. The first time we stayed we got a good sofa bed; however, this time the sofa bed was just too uncomfortable and thin.

I liked the location of the property, and it was a very good value as compared to private homes that we have stayed at in Ruidoso before. The staff was very friendly.

The check-in was quite lengthy. Another couple was in front of me, and so the main counter clerk was busy. After waiting for about 20 minutes, finally another clerk helped, an older lady. However, she apparently was not familiar with how to operate the electronic payment procedures, and she charged my debit card without telling me how much the charge would be in advance (I bought an extra night over & above my originally planned stay). Not only that, but she could not even provide me with a receipt. When I finally got a receipt upon checkout, I had been overcharged by $42.00. However, I consider this to be a minor issue; the other clerk got it straightened out upon checkout, and all of the employees were super friendly and helpful to the best of their abilities.

Loved the size of the condo. Very spacious and had all the amenities of home, coffee pot, microwave, full size refrigerator, stove, pots and pans, dishes. Fully equipped if you prefer to cook for yourself.

The bed was really hard. I don't remember it being this hard from our last stay, but we also were in a different condo.

Celebrated my mom's 80th birthday. We loved the place, very nice, perfect location. All my family thought it was wonderful.

I guess the only thing was that the air conditioner was only in the kitchen and not the bedrooms. It was a hot weekend. Other than that everything was great!

Beautiful view, wildlife, gazebo to enjoy outside, and we were 7 to 8 minutes from anything we wanted to enjoy. We enjoyed the stay and really wanted for nothing and the price was very reasonable We would go there again.

This place is old, but it was clean. I had read the reviews, so many people had nothing but negative comments. So I was very worried, but it was actually a cool place to stay, I was so comfortable with the apartment. This would be the place that I would definitely stay on my next trip, we all just felt at home!

I really don't have anything that I was not happy with!

Beds were super comfortable. And the staff for check in and check out was very polite.

Noisy upstairs neighbors. The first night we got hardly any sleep cuz of the apartment above us.

Tracy is so great! She made sure we were taken care of our entire stay. Being here was like being at home, having our own kitchen, walking distance to stores for essentials. Very pet friendly! Took advantage of the snow storm that passed, and used the hill behind our condo to slide. This is now my go to spot for a place to stay in Ruidoso, NM.

We understand the pool was out of service, but we still plan on coming back in the future.

Cleanliness, staff and price

Water didn't stay hot very long, we took a lot of cold showers, small child running around upstairs in the early a.m hours and toilet handle breaking made it difficult to use the bathroom.
