The beds were amazing!!!

We were told that breakfast was until 10 am, so at 9:30am we went down for breakfast only to encounter an extremely unfriendly worker who gave us way to much attitude to inform us that she was no longer serving breakfast.. She simply could have said sorry breakfast is done. That wasn’t not the case she was very nasty looked us up and down placed her hand on her hip with her head swaying saying breakfast is done, I could have gone without the attitude. The rest of the staff was friendly.

The breakfast buffet was not refilled often, but ultimately, it was free, so it's not really a complaint. The rooms had a few things that wouldn't be hard to wipe down, which would then make the cleanliness a 10/10 -- dust near the back of the counter, the dresser & desk, smudges near door handle & a couple other very miniscule things.

The staff from check in until check out were superb. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was exceptional. My husband was weirdly excited about the make you own waffle part. We went on a trip to PA to pick up a new puppy and this was the halfway mark. The hotel included a doggy area for potty time and that was helpful. I wish it was fenced in but it was honestly a great addition to the hotel either way. It was such an accommodating place we have actually spent time looking at other La Quinta places to stay on trips since we love to travel with our dogs.

It was fantastic! There wasn't anything during our stay that I would have improved. The easy process of check in and check out and clear directions to the room made staying there simple and relaxing. Usually traveling with cumbersome travel bags and a dog in tow its annoying and frustration to find the room. Everything at this hotel was so wonderful! HOWEVER...Its annoying the review forces a sad face when the actual written comment is so great. That's on the site not the hotel though.

At La Quinta Inn & Suites Clifton Park — Want to give a shout out to Pam at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Clifton Park, NY. Pam went out of her way to make William feel super special. William loves the hotel, the pool and Jacuzzi. William wanted a note from the hotel and Pam went even further to make William super happy. Thank you so much!!!!

I liked it all. Wished the pool was a few degrees warmer.

Cute gift of snacks and water when you check in. The hotel was clean and didn’t have pet odors. I was nervous as it was our first time bringing our pet with us. I know my pets is trained and clean, but was nervous bc not everyone may take care of their pet like we do. She also doesn’t have accidents inside. I was nervous about the cleanliness but it exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool. Didn’t know there was a spot on the side for the dogs to use, so maybe at check in next time they can just tell the guest. Was great, they even provided poop bags! I simply walked out the front and only noticed it as we decided to walk around the building as a “wall.” We were very please.

Just to let the guests know where the dogs are expected to make when the guests check in. Maybe 2 bottles of water instead of 1, but it was complimentary so I can’t complain! Lol

The bath tub very slippery when entering to take a shower. Something should be put on shower floor so someone Does not slip and fall and hurt themselves!! I mentioned this last year and no change to floor.

The room was spacious and clean. I liked relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. I liked that breakfast was included in our stay for an easy morning. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the friendly front desk staff and the directions were clear to get to our room.

I really didn't like the papery thin, noisy bedding because our room was kind of chilly. I also would have liked to be closer to the city center which looks a lot closer on the map than in real life. It's not a very walkable area if that's what you're looking for.

check in a breeze...William at reception was polite helpful with directions for dining...the room was very clean the breakfast area was clean with well spaced tables...fair selection at breakfast....

room above us was noisy during the night....in fairness we did not report it to staff but staff quickly tolsd us to call in the future to report....the a/c unit very noisy

The manager put together bag lunches for us since we had to leave very early to get to the rowing regatta we were participating in the next morning. She was very kind and understanding! The hotel is very comfortable and clean and the location is great.

There were large groups of people having pizza parties in the lobby each night. The children were running wild and it seemed that they expected the hotel staff to babysit the kids. It was loud and very annoying. This went on each night until 11:00-midnight. So unacceptable!

The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was pleasant and the hotel itself was clean.

The hot water for my shower was lukewarm. The breakfast was fine. I had to ask 3 times for towels in the pool area and finally a woman brought 4 towels and told me to take what I needed because there were no more. Maybe order more towels!!
