Tru By Hilton Albany Airport, Ny

The facility was clean, not dated and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good except that I would have liked to see some breakfast pastries and bananas available. The choices for snacks to purchase was varied and plentiful. Complimentary water bottles were a plus!

The only disappointment was the mattress and bedframe. The mattress was very hard and bumpy and the protrusion of the bed frame was not in line with the size of the mattress leaving us to bump into it leaving us with some bruising on our legs.

Location near to the airport and the shuttle service was very convenient. The common areas with space to relax and fooseball tables made for a good atmosphere. We also took advantage of the little convenience store at the front desk. Breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond to help find dairy-free options for myself and my toddler for breakfast. Really well thought out hotel and services.

Ordered Uber Eats one night…not the hotel’s fault at all, but if anyone else orders just be clear with Uber that it is the Tru by Hilton, not the Hilton Gardens just down the road.

The room was spotless, the TV was on with "Welcome John" on the screen, there were four pillows on the bed, the bed was very comfortable, the soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion dispensing tubes were easy to use and kept the place neat and tidy, and the step-in shower was just the best! Also, the breakfast was fantastic! Watch your own hot, fluffy pancakes being made, have scrambled eggs, a sausage patty, a bagel with cream cheese or JIF peanut butter, an orange, a banana, juice and all the coffee you want. Wonderful. Will stay there next time I'm in Albany!

Can't think of a thing

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the gym was great with new equipment. the property was clean. The coffee was great! modern and clean facilities (bedroom, public bathrooms).

Wasn’t keen on the breakfast (though I loved the pancakes and sausages). didn’t know how to contact the shuttle when I arrived (which was very scary for a newbie to Albany), but once found it was a great service delivered by a friendly member of staff!

Location was in a good spot. Alot of tables for everyone to sit if at full capacity for breakfast. I got down to breakfast last and everything was hot and full. You could tell that Tricia was still training, but did a good job. Kia the manager was by her side making sure if she needed help she was there.

The snacks at the front were very expensive. Even though the room floors were clean the laminate was sticky.

The set up! How clean it was! Staff is friendly! One girl stood out because the day I came she took care of me and when coming back from being out at midnight she was still there! she had been driving the shuttle and running the front desk all day with the help of her coworkers! And desmond is a great new addition to your staff

The breakfast! Eggs n sausage wasnt that great. Add some bacon! Pancakes was great. More fresh fruit would be good.

very clean and comfortable

room was noisy. load noise within the walls. i figured it out it was the water going through the pipes. also staff might somehow tell guests that check in late and are not put on the first floor should tell them to respect other guests by not being so loud with walking, running jumping and rolling their luggage around the room. Courtesy goes a long way. thank you

close to airport. modern design. no carpets. good breakfast. simply furnished room. good mattress.

while I like the use of refillable toiletries in the bathroom like soap and shampoo. it is so much more environmentally thoughtful, the conditioner was empty in the shower. housekeeping needs to be sure to top off every day. also newer staff was learning so slow to check in and they didn’t get the wake up call I requested but these were minor details and I’m sure will get better.

The hotel was clean, modern, friendly, and easy to get around. Breakfast was great, attendants checked on us throughout, and there was a significant selection for those of us who did not eat gluten (sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, hand fruit). The breakfast space/lobby is very bright, fun, and functional and everyone at breakfast seemed to be in great moods. We will absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

No complaints.

I was pleasantly surprised at my accommodations and the level of service that I received. I was there for a family event and lots of family members were at other locations. Suffice to say that some of the comments that were made regarding those locations made me queasy. However, I must say that I told everyone, if there is a next time, please go to Tru, it was awesome.
