Baymont by Wyndham Latham Albany Airport

Perfect location for anyone leaving from Albany airport, as the property is close to the airport and provides a free shuttle service. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast starts at 4 am, which is great for people taking early morning flights. Would stay again.

There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, or in the hotel, so plan to eat before your arrival if you have already returned your hire car at the airport. Otherwise, no complaints.

The room was very clean and neat and the office manager was very helpful and kind.

As compared to other motels that I have stayed at, I felt the breakfast was very poor. The coffee was weak. To eat, you had a choice of 3 types of cereal, muffins or french toast. No eggs, sausages, bacon, toast, fresh fruit or orange juice which are staples at other motels.

The staff was so kind and accommodating. I called for the shuttle from the airport and was picked up immediately. I was granted a late checkout without even asking when I mentioned my flight didn’t leave until the afternoon. And I was allowed to use the commercial laundry facilities when the guest laundry was unavailable. Room was clean and comfortable and you even get a welcome snack and water on arrival. Much more than I expected for an airport hotel.

My toilet seat was broken and completely unusable but no maintenance person was working that could fix it. The public restroom in the hall was clean but a long walk from my room.

The building was what one expects from a moderate priced motel, no more no less. Thankfully it was clean, which makes a huge difference. The staff were amazing--pleasant, helpful, and able to maintain a sense of humor. The counter staff had smiles and joked a bit when I teased about the snack bag contents (the snack bag itself was a nice surprise). When preparing to take the shuttle to the airport, the staff made sure that everyone who had expressed a desire for the shuttle knew it was departing and gave them time to get their things together and catch a ride. On the shuttle ride back from the airport, the young woman who dropped us off was bubbly and fun to ride with. Even though she was barely larger than my suitcase she grabbed it and popped it up in the van. She said she loved her job and I believe her. The staff at this motel made the stay very pleasant. I also liked the free parking during my trip. That alone will bring me back next time I fly out of Albany.

I had trouble finding the place. The directions were a bit unclear and, despite the huge sign on a pole, I missed it twice and had to turn around and keep trying to find the correct road. I was not thrilled by the notice the place was under construction, but luckily I left before that began for the day so it ended up having no effect on me. The Covid limited bagged breakfast was fine--for what it was. It hit the major food groups and was varied enough that I ate some of it for breakfast and saved the rest as a snack for the plane. I would have much preferred the opportunity to have breakfast in-person on-site rather than a bagged breakfast, however. The Covid restrictions had been eased by then.

The proximity to the airport and availability of the airport shuttle was very convenient. The staff was INCREDIBLY courteous and helpful in every aspect of getting us to and from the airfield on time.

The facility is a bit older and somewhat frayed around the edges, but it was very clean and comfortable nonetheless.

carpeted room in pet friendly room. too many past dog smells for dog to relax. no odor for us humans so that was a plus. no carpet would also make it easier for staff to clean. the room was very clean and my pet did not have issues. this is just an observation for future renovations for consideration.

Breakfast horrible- all sugar. Why not plain!!! Yogurt. No REAL eggs but of course very generous with the candy sugary pre fab treats. If you care about your health? Toxic! Your hotel is a 2 star hotel = to Stuart Market chain and should cost 100 dollars tax included

The young lady at the desk (when I checked- in in the evening) was friendly and helpful. My first room was not cleaned well and she immediately gave me a new room and she checked it for cleanliness. She also noticed my foot injury and put me in a room closer to the front lobby. Sidenote: I appreciated the TV not being small

The man who worked the overnight shift kind of disappeared. I got locked out after going out to my vehicle and my card did not work to get in the main lobby. I rung the bell continuously for and knocked on the glass but he never showed nor did I see him in the lobby area. I remembered a side door and tried that door and thankfully the card worked

The young woman, ?Cassie, on the desk the evening/night of Nov. 15, 2021 was delightful and cheerfully picked me up at ALB well after midnight due to a very delayed flight. I’d been in communication with her twice from Newark. Great new mattress!

Everything else was wonderful but there was ice cream in the refrigerator from the previous guest!

it was clean and the rooms spacious. The airport is close. we did not use the shuttle but very convenient. the man at the front desk was very nice. I appreciate that they are dog friendly
