Landmark Inn

We had a wonderful stay. Nick greeted us at check-in and provided such helpful tips to get to know the town and where to eat. We arrived late afternoon and they made sure we were well informed on everything regarding the hotel. Upon arrival they informed us of a room upgrade, which was a lovely to receive as we were celebrating my husband's birthday and our babymoon. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. They provided a booklet on the inn and Cooperstown. So many details. Breakfast was great, and the inn is so beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everyone in the staff was very nice and welcoming. We will surely return with friends and family.

We LOVED everything about the Landmark! Our room was lovely and the bathroom shower experience was the best we ever had! Vita's breakfasts were unbelievable and we couldn't believe it was all included with our stay! The staff...Nick, Terry, Amy, Ally all were wonderful and Vita of course! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and accommodating and truly wanted us to have a great time! Lots of wonderful recommendation's for things to do! We listened to everything! The location was perfect as we like walking as much as possible and so easy to do from the Landmark! We can't wait to return and thank you to everyone for the wonderful experience! We will definitely spread the word!! John and Keith...you did a great job with the Inn and picking your staff! They are exceptional!! Thank you all!!

The inn was absolutely beautiful and welcoming. Everything was exceptional quality, and there were a lot of little extras! Our suite was large with a marble gas fireplace and two of the most comfortable chairs in which I've ever sat. The bed, pillows and linens were super comfortable. The shower was awesome. The best part of our stay though were the friendly and helpful staff and owners who made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us, including bringing home-made warm chocolate chip cookies to our room whem we got back from dinner! The breakfasts were also extraordinarily delicious and plentiful. We highly recommend the Landmark Inn for your trip to Cooperstown or any special celebration.

Nothing, we couldn't have asked for more comfort or service. Everything was perfect. We stayed an extra night. Difficult place to leave!

The Inn was very historic, and at the same time it was well taken care of. The location was maintained meticulously and the cleanliness was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly and this place is an awesome stay when visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame which is in walking distance.

They got it right keep up the good work. It is rare today to find value in what you pay for, but the Landmark Inn provides top quality accommodations. I would highly recommend this location when visiting the Baseball hall of fame.

Breakfast was fantastic as expected - this was my second time staying here so I knew it would be a great spot! The main spaces are beautifully designed and come will little extra snacks to help the late-night hunger. Our room was as expected - we especially enjoyed the natural light and finishes in the bathroom. It's an old building and they've done a great job preserving its natural beauty while also modernizing the space.

The breakfast was poor ,no choices,only question was any allergies 1 sausage 2 tomatoes a little cucumber and a slice of omlette with tiny bit of cheese and spinach,also a small appetizer with water melon and also a dry muffin ,very disappointing .The Inn itself is lovely ,in excellent condition and spotless full of character ,numerous places inside and outside to relax.

The breakfast definitly,the worst we had in a long time ,especially considering what we paid for the Landmark Inn ,I did not eat mine and no one made a comment. We stayed at the Otesaga the 3 nights before no comparison ,but have stayed in cheaper accommodations and their breafasts also so much better .We travel a lot .

The breakfast was elegant and delicious. Very professional. We enjoyed it immensely. The staff was very friendly and was very attentive to be sure we had a great experience. The location and facility was exceptional. We loved it and will return.

The gentleman checking us in could have done a better job letting us know the services that were available. The coffee bar and chocolates and cookies were not pointed out to us that they were available and it would have been nice to show us around the inside of the Inn as it was beautiful.

The historic house is beautiful. Perfectly maintained. A lot of modern comfort features. The bed was delightfully comfortable for me — firm bed with what felt like a feather topper and luxurious sheets. My husband is not a fan of the feather toppers on beds, so he was not as comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the women who cooked and served us breakfast were friendly and happy and delightful. This is more like a boutique hotel than traditional B&B. There was a small living room/sitting area as common space. We ate in a dining room at our own separate table, not at a common dining table with other guests. There were two breakfast service times, 8am and 9am.

There was no coffee and tea available until we went to breakfast. It would be great to have coffee available in the dining room or in the reception or living room for guests not having breakfast until 8 or 9am. We were in one of the rooms in the added on part of the house in the back and the walls were quite thin; we could hear our neighbors too well. Fortunately, they went to bed when we did but if they had been up later talking or watching TV it would have been annoying. I assume the sound would be different and not a problem in rooms in the main part of the house.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had an early morning flight on our last day and the chef opened up for breakfast early so we could eat her wonderful breakfast before departing. So much better than a bag breakfast to go.

My only suggestion would be to put a small table or some shelves in the bathroom. As it is, there is no place to put one's toiletries except on the back of the toilet and that is really not enough room. Every thing else was lovely.

This was really luxurious and upscale bed and breakfast. I really enjoyed staying there for over night sleep and next morning breakfast. Everyone from the servers at breakfast to the employee who checked us in, were very nice and helpful. Also Smores provided at night for the outside firepit!

The wifi in the room was a little spotty. I am sure if you needed a stronger connection, going to the downstairs lounge would be the best bet. Not much bad to say otherwise.
