Best Western Cooperstown

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, very close to Cooperstown Dream Park. The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel and breakfast hostess was just as wonderful. It's located at the end of a little shopping center so there's anything you need within steps but without the big city hassle. The indoor pool was clean, beds were comfortable but up a little high for shorter guests. Great scenery out back side of hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

Facilities were good, value was good, met my expectations

The front desk clerk on Friday and Saturday night was the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with, and we went with a group of families to play at Double Day Field and all stayed at this hotel and she was nasty to every single person and family in our group, she was screaming at the kids and being rude to us! I have never dealt with someone so rude and the worst attitude than her and she should not be the first person a customer deals with when they check in or at anytime for that matter!

The lobby area was very open and comfortable for our group to gather to socialize. The room with a king bed was spacious and comfortable. Free breakfast was pretty good overall and staff were very friendly. We were there for a family baby shower and the meeting room was clean, spacious, lots of windows, and equipped with nice tables and seating.

Pool and spa were disappointing as the pool was not clean and the spa wasn't working.

hot breakfast each morning was excellent....loved the automatic pancake maker machine...great selection of items available. Used the swimming pool during stay location was terrific--on same grounds as McDonalds and grocery store and small shops...just 10 min. away from downtown Cooperstown.

had brand new high tech TVs in some rooms--no one from staff knew how to operate. Finding favorite programs took a lot of channel surfing. Our second room had older tv but we knew how to use the remote to find our channels. Housekeepers were friendly and helpful but we had to ask daily for clean towel and new supply of coffee for coffee makers.

The staff (all three on duty at 3:00pm on 9/28/2022) were amazingly helpful in adjusting our reservation that needed to be changed. They were also knowledgable about the area and helpful in recommending places for us for a light dinner.

The room wasn't as big as the room I stayed in in Oswego, NY this summer. Getting up in the night - without turning on a light and waking up my husband - was precarious. Not a lot of room in which to navigate between desk and TV stand and bed frame. Feared for my toes both going and coming back from the bathroom.

closeness to grocery store, McDonald’s and the Cooperstown ball fields

we booked for the main facility but we’re put up in the lodge on the second floor awhile they were installing a new roof. Constant daytime noise. When we checked in the manager told us about the lodge and said no room discount and we could always leave for somewhere else. Let me emphasize that I did not ask for a discount and we made the best of the situation. He was very abrupt. I attached a picture of the room refrigerator

The breakfast was amazing! The staff were Friendly and Welcoming! We were there for the Cooperstown baseball tournament, so prices were higher because of that. However, the room was nice and clean. Also, the location was close to everything.

There were lots of spiders and spider webs that were near the entrance of both buildings and they were actually in the foyer of the 2nd building. I felt like they could have made sure that was cleaned a little bit better. But I don't really like spiders.

Everything was good except bed too soft and desk chair would not lock in upright position.

Breakfast offered a variety of options; was well organized and efficiently run. Check-in staff was welcoming; housekeeping staff was very friendly and room cleaning was excellent; a plumbing problem was addressed immediately; front desk provided help with directions; check-out was handled quickly and efficiently.

The breakfast was very good and liked that there were many tables available. The cook was very friendly and accommodating. Nice view from our room. Liked the availability of a laundry room.

Our key card had to be reset about 4 times. The room was too pricey.
