Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

Absolutely beautiful facility staff checking in was so friendly and knowledgeable. Jake up was amazing! Going on the elevator we met two women who is just so lovely… the room it’s self was so clean and I would 100% go back again

The food was wonderful however, it took forever for the food. I don’t know why it took almost 45 minutes to get our entrée and it wasn’t that crowded, but it was so great being with the family so that would never determine going again because the food was absolutely fantastic!! My nieces have celiac disease What I didn’t like about the property I can’t say the property it was the charge of the wine. My sister and I got a 9 ounce glass one of Pinot Grigio one of Pinot noir it came to $38. I could not believe it I gave 44 so technically across $22 for a glass of wine for a regular house of glass of wine. Whatever you served at the bar that to me is obnoxious and not right. and the gluten free menu. What is everything! I cannot wait to come back.

Absolutely, loved our stay. The indoor water park, at first did not excite me, however, once i realized i could enter the outdoor pool from the inside of the Hotel, created me to want to go in. The Carver's restaurant was very delicious. Also, the ability to use an app to order food, from another restaurant right to your Hotel was a nice touch in the event you are there on a day that Carver's is closed. Great place and will definitely be back. We stayed at this Hotel due to a concert in Homer, NY at their performance center. Concert was about 15 minutes away. I wouldn't rely on uber or lyft to get to the concert, however, they do provide a phone number for a taxi service; but call during the day to schedule your pick up, don't wait until the last minute as you probably won't be able to get picked up.

The generator was able to be heard from our bedroom. The first night it was a little rough, but we got used to it. Annoying, but not a reason i wouldn't stay at the Hotel again.

We loved everything about this place! the staff was great, the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Everything was spotless clean. My son plays baseball so we travel very often, one of the things I pay the most attention it’s the bathroom and this one was shining bright white. Rossy is a keeper! Don’t you EVER let her go! She’s a natural treating with people. Thanks for the beautiful pics! My kids enjoyed their stay and that’s all I needed. I liked the big parking lot and all the beautiful spots to take good pictures. +The place it’s surrounded by nature! Just a few minutes away from the location we needed to go for the games.

it is an absolutely beautiful property. The reception area is grand. the restaurant on property is convenient, but a bit pricey. the main focus of course for some people is skiing. we don’t ski, so we went to the water park. but that is also very pricey. the pool and hot tub come free with the rooms but the hot tub was too crowded to enjoy more than once. the water park has slides we didn’t use and a wave pool we did use but for $27/ persons that was not worth it.

CoVid mandate to wear a mask- it’s not the property at fault but my boys are autistic and wearing a mask just doesn’t work for them.

We loved the lodge. Personel is amazing, location is great, clean. The nature is amazing. Lake and the beach are great. We wished the beach was opened longer. But still great experience. Water indoor park is great too.

Indoor water park needs little updates. On top of that is was not that clean. We saw bandages everywhere and here and there trash. Maybe a cleaning person to go through couple of times a day would be good.

The restaurant at the lodge serves absolutely delicious food which is worth every penny. Friendly service and overall nice peaceful atmosphere. The lodge is very clean and although we had a few issues with the room, they were resolved immediately

very well maintained, friendly staff, rooms are spacious and good location to visit SUNY Cortland.

So I loved this place and will stay again, but the mirror in front of the toilet in the bathroom gave me a whole new perspective on what I thought I looked like . lol I could do without that mirror image.

loved it very safe and clean. excellent my husband wants to go back and see everything. it can be romantic or a family trip the rooms slept so many people 3 queen size beds. one in the wall, one in the couch and a private bedroom suite we went for my 6 year olds birthday. the spa was refreshing and the arcade the water park was reasonably priced also

the fact that there’s no breakfast only downstairs in the store .

The rooms were very clean, and so was the facility. We enjoyed the water park. Breakfast was good, lunches and dinners at Carvers were excellent! The staff was great and very polite. Room service was prompt and excellent!

We were quite satisfied, not anything visible to point out. Carvers was not open on Monday and Tuesday which posed a small inconvenience since there are no restaurants etc., close by, but we were able to drive into Cortland for a quick meal.

lodge and grounds were very nice

the indoor water park was disappointing. two of the four large water slides were shut down the whole day as well as the water basketball area. so basically nearly half the attractions were closed yet we paid full price for each ticket.
