Amazing location- we loved to take morning walks into the woods towards the lake! The view from our room was beautiful! The room was specious and clean The happy hour was great The staff was very friendly

The bed was uncomfortable for us (too soft), but opening your eyes to such a beautiful view made you forget everything! If you book a room for a party of three- please note that there is no additional bed in the king room, and the third person would have to sleep on a rollaway bed, which costs an additional $15 a night. It is better to call the hotel directly and book a double-king room.

Loved that the room was roomey and comfortable, the gift basket was nice we got a king sunrise view suite, loved that there was a fire place in the room. Facial products are amazing. I bought them all. Bonus to getting the spa massage or services is the sauna and steam room, so go early and enjoy them before your time. Staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere!!!

The sunrise view is actually a parking lot view, so I'd opt for a valley view room. The spa is rather expensive for what you're getting. It's definitely got spa prices. You could probably get a just as good a massage at a smaller shop in town, for ¼ to ½ off the spa price. My husband didn't like the massage. idk if the guy was tired or what, but he said he just kinda rubbed up n down the same spot over n over. I actually looked over as i flipped over and noticed it, too. He looked bored. My massage was wonderful. P.S I am a massage therapist. If that helps at all. Spa tub is small if your a bigger person it won't do for you.

Breakfast was outstanding! We received a voucher for breakfast due to a mixup with our reservation. We both had the full breakfast and everything was wonderful. The fruit was amazing! The entire staff was exceptional.

Our reservation was mixed up when we got there. We had reserved a pet friendly room but it wasn't available until the following day. It was a pain not being able to unpack, however, Lisa was exceptional in getting us into the pet friendly room that next day. It was, at best, a slight inconvenience. However, we were definitely not upgraded to a "King Sunrise View" with a fireplace, just a similar room but pet friendly. That's what's coming up on your site. Would have been nice, but no.

The property is beautiful, spa treatment was amazing!! Convenient location to many restaurants in the area, bistro on the property, bar inside the resort. Fireplace in the room absolutely set the mood and kept the room very warm and cozy.

The only negative was there was not a microwave in the room. Coffee pot and refrigerator were kept in the closet. Could not figure out where to close the drain on the jet tub to hold the water in the tub.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating! From the front desk especially Lisa) to the wait staff in the bistro are truly the best of the best! The room was very clean and the champagne left in our room and sign wishing us a happy anniversary was such a nice touch. The books in the room was a nice surprise and we loved the gas fireplace! The food in the bistro was excellent! The coffee & hot cocoa bar with fresh baked cookies in the lobby was so nice! Their spa products you’ll find in your room are awesome. Next time I’ll book a service at the spa!

I’m a detail oriented person so I notice things that could be improved upon which are all cosmetic like cleaning up the landscaping, bringing all the pots with dead plants in for the winter, replacing the broken solar lights and old outside awning, a new paint job on the building, putting in lighting on the pathway to the bistro and replacing the cheap chairs on the balconies and outside patio with something nicer.

The cocoa and coffee bar was amazing, especially since we spent all of our time at the hotel due to the weather. The staff were all so very nice, helpful, and welcoming. They even left us a bottle of bubbly in the room fridge to congratulate us on getting married! We were staying with them for our "mini-moon" and it was really just the perfect place. The spa was also excellent and relaxing, our couples massage was fantastic.

The bistro food was okay/good but not great. I had an incredible lavender lemonade mojito though that I would definitely order again.

Staff members were friendly. Each evening at 5PM-6PM there is free wine with a member of the family that owns the hotel. Free coffee and cookies in the lobby daily. My only issue is that there was no dresser in the room and all clothing had to be hung up. I had to keep my undies in my suitcase throughout my stay. However, everything else was wonderful

No dresser in the bedroom for clothing. All items must be hung in the closet.

The staff members were exceptionally sweet and accommodating. The bistro was EXCELLENT! The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. We slept wonderfully. I also loved the efforts of the hotel to be more "green". It was much appreciated! We were very sad to leave and move on. I wish we would have been able to spend our entire week long vacation here. Best experience I have had in a long time!

we had dinner and breakfast-both meals were high quality, delicious and well prepared. The staff was super friendly.

Breakfast took an unusually long time to arrive at our table, though we were told that we were the only table our the wait staff was serving. My coffee was lukewarm, as was my omelet. It would have been easier to find our room location if there were directional signs in the hallway. Ie: Rooms 27-35> We wandered up and down the long corridors to eventually find our room and that of friends.

The hotel was located on beautifully kept grounds with ponds and gazebos. It also had a nice Spa and restaurant for breakfast on site. Trail for Buttermilk Falls was located behind the property. Wine happy hour was fun. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were beautifully decorated cozy and clean. Close proximity (10 mins) to downtown Ithaca.
